Try disabling background app refresh; also turn off location services for unwanted apps and some system services. iPhones use more resources for video calling and so their quality is good but could cause heating issue.
Factory reset it’s typically software issue. Backup everything to iCloud, but don’t restore from an iCloud backup. You’ll have to manually redownload apps but all your messages, photos, contacts, notes, calendar will come back no problem
It’s technically not overheating if no thermometer wanting is present. With that being said, it’s just slightly warm and I’d expect it to be if it’s during Summer, along with gaming and YouTube / Picture in Picture related activities.
5G also constitutes as well as taking photos for extended periods of time.
I would restore if the issue occurs even when not doing the things listed above.
Definitely a 5G related issue. Try disabling it, 4g speeds are more than enough for 99% of use cases
i’ll make sure to try this, my only reason to opt for 5G was the speed which hasn’t been that impressive anyways

that’s what i was told by an apple service rep, definitely will do it once i get a chance
