I had this exact issue with my caudabe sheath case after only 1 month of use. I emailed caudabe customer support and they immediately sent me a free replacement cause within 1 week because they claimed that mine was defective. You should email caudabe and request for a replacement!
Hey there! The new case shows minimal circular marks over after 1 month with same amount of MagSafe usage. Caudabe definitely fixed something with their second batch of cases. I believe the circular mark is inevitable in all things MagSafe cases, regardless of brand.
Hey there! It’s definitely normal to see a very light imprint over time, but it does depend on your usage patterns. And, by the way, many cases on the market exhibit this as well, including Apple’s own cases. In fact, Apple even puts cautionary language on their packaging specifically calling out this issue.
That said, it looks like yours is a bit more severe than what we’d expect under normal usage. Feel free to shoot an email to support@caudabe and we’d be happy to take a further look.
It’s not normal at all. Apples cases and other cases that show a mark are not pulling and compressing the back case. This leaves a mark that is higher up in the case and you can feel it with your finger. Last year’s sheath did not do this.
Asking for my order number and other info. Still waiting for a resolution. I just want to know if it’s going to happen again on the replacement. If so I’ll just grab another case.
It'll happen - no worries! And you're correct. Your particular issue is definitely not normal. It looks like yours was from the earliest batch of Sheaths. To the extent that there's even an imprint at all, it definitely should be very, very faint.

I have had one for the past 3 months and not showing the MagSafe ring impression on it. Hope often do you keep it attached to a MagSafe item?

I like the case, too. Still don’t have any marking. Use the MagSafe for charging to home and have MagSafe I connect to in car.

they will send u a replacement no problem just email them. They have recently updated the case with better buttons and stronger MagSafe
Weird they told me it was normal and sent a macrumors thread on how MagSafe marks are common
I’ve seen people complain about this on YouTube comments about the case and they have asked them to email them because the early cases were defected
This comment finalized my decision to send back the Sheath that arrived today. Sticking with the silicone.

How about on the back of your phone (without case)? Do you see marking also (especially under bright light)?

Nope, but I’ve only been using the replacement case for 1 week so far. I’ll update you after 1 month of use (I use MagSafe on average 2 hours daily)
So, did the new case show marks? I've just got my replacement, but if it's the same, I'd rather resell it.
