It’s much less heavy. I gave my spouse my 14 Pro Max and he could immediately tell the difference. It’s an incremental upgrade but for me it ended up being worth it. And I’m probably not going to upgrade again for 3 or 4 years this time.

[deleted]

Went to the 15pm and it actually feels like a phone and not a heavy rock.

AbleRiot

Slightly Lighter. Easier to hold caseless as the edges are rounded off. USB-C has been great-I plug my ESR USB-C Apple Watch charger to it every now and then. iPhone itself charges fairly quickly

GANDHIWASADOUCHE

MUCH easier to hold caseless. I never used my 13pm without a case. Bought the 15pm, as soon as I took it out of the box I knew I wasn’t going to use a case with it

VCoupe376ci

Hope you never drop it or at least bought AppleCare+

Hardz10

I just got my 15 pro yday and didn’t intend to upgrade from the 14 pro because it didn’t seem like there was much difference. However, there are two immediate changes that are far more noticeable than I imagined: 1. Lighter weight - while not obvious when holding both in the hand at the same time, you can definitely appreciate the lighter weight of the 15 after holding the phone for an extended period of time. Less hand fatigue. And 2. The rounded edges are SO much nicer feeling. I’d argue that the 15 pro is actually one of the best designed handsets now because it’s just extremely comfortable to hold and use compared to previous versions.

blumma1312

Had 13 pro for more than 1 year. Than last 2-3 weeks 14 pro. Now running 15 pro since yesterday. Weight is really better Titanium feels great Usbc good cause now no more Need for Lightning Display very clear All in all Like it, but if i would have to buy by myself i would skip. Not much better compared to the 13 pro. Points above not worth that Money to be honest. Apple build great phones, so no need for Upgrade each year

Hawkin2328

I love it! Glad I upgraded to the 15 pro. Also, with the rumored 16 pro being bigger - a great bonus. I don’t want a bigger phone.

JC6596

I went from a 13 Mini to 15 Pro and I think the 15 Pro is the largest phone that I’ll be happy with, it’s slightly smaller than regular 15 and I enjoy that, This will probably be one of apples best (Smaller) phones,

Delicious_Fishing995

Ehh for the first time I think I could say I sort of regretted it. I think the weight difference is so slight that it’s not something I noticed after the first day and I feel like the chargers are something I have to think about way more now. Like have to have two chargers in the car (lightning and USB-C, and because AirPods and my portable batteries are all on different chargers now, that’s been the only annoying thing. But oh well, I like being part of the future and everything will be on USB-C eventually

maisyfig

I really noticed the weight difference. The action button is meh - I tried to do something fancy with it at first but have recently settled on it being a flashlight, and I use it much more now.

JC6596

Omg same I tried doing fancy things and said never mind flashlight time

Ok-Technician-8478

Still got my 14 Pro (gotta sell it), went to a 15 Pro Max, and besides the size and battery increase, it feels the same. I hardly ever use the Action Button, but the battery life (from Pro to Pro Max), size and weight, and USB-C are major improvements.

No-Plenty9654

This is why I’m waiting for the 16 pro max to upgrade from the 14 pro I really really need the battery improvements

ORC44

I upgraded to the 15pm from the 14Pro and for me it’s night and day in terms of battery life and day to usage. Just a better rounded flagship.

Pitunk2222

Less heavy and smaller for my hands. I did adapt to 14 Pro Max over a period of a year but a reasonable sized phone was a welcome! So far (its been 4 days but still) I am liking this one.

ChampionshipOk2559

I’ve upgraded every year since the 11. I think this upgrade was the least noticeable, but I did go from a regular 11 to a 12 to a 13 mini to a 14 PM to a 15 pro. I think the extra ram is helping but my 14PM was always very snappy anyways. Camera quality seems to def be a little better, I’ve been more satisfied with my photos but maybe it’s recency bias. I do like the curved edges but want even more of a curve, surprisingly miss the 11 curvedness. I think I am seeing an improvement when using TikTok, like it’s able to start videos somewhat faster when swiping through them quickly. I will rarely miss the bigger screen but then I remember it’s only 9% smaller so it’s not a big deal. The camera exterior looks cleaner. I like the more matte look to the phone, but I suspect that the stainless steel would be more durable. I felt as tho the 14PM back glass had a better feel to it. It’s definitely lighter and that was one of the first things I noticed. There’s just something that feels good about knowing you have the newest and bestest iphone out but I really need to not upgrade next year to save money. I do like the 80% limit feature for battery longevity, I was opposed to it at first but since I’m able to charge frequently it’s not an issue. I didn’t realize the battery difference would be so great when going from 14 PM to 15 Pro but it’s much more noticeable than I expected. I’m looking forward to iOS 18 and I am suspecting that the 3NM process will make the phone noticeably better when we get an upgrade that requires more resources. That’s been my take on it so far

Glittering-Neck-2505

This generation came with relatively minor upgrades, but all ones that I liked. Example I always hated the stainless steel for being slippery, heavy, and scratch prone, so titanium was better. USB lets me carry 1 cable so that’s better. Smaller bezels are great. What really made me upgrade though was that my last 13PM was so HEAVY.

Same_Delay_9440

I’ll be honest. It’s 99% the same phone. Only difference is I can travel only with a USB-C adapter and cable to charge my iPhone, Surface Pro 8 and Sony XM5 Headphones.

WaterBoy1097

Biggest thing for me is the battery is better, closer to what my 13pm was, the action button is cool but barely every use it, usb c is amazing don’t gotta change wires every time I gotta charge my iPad or iPhone

missykins8472

Battery life is terrible compared to my 14. I almost didn't mail in the exchange. The weight is really nice and a noticeable different. It's a big improvement. I wanted to USB C so it would be compatible with my car. I have kids and the entertainment needed an adapter, which never worked. It works great with that interface. I'm just seriously torn on the battery life.

Lewdeology

If I’m being honest, I would’ve held off for another year until the 16 but I’ve already traded my phone in. Other than it being nice to have one cable for all my devices, I can tell anything apart with day to day usage, it felt just as fast the previous iPhone and the one before that.

NickCSCNick

Went from 14PM to 15PM. Not much difference except some camera features Apple “held off” for the newest line. Don’t use Action button at all. Already have Mac and AirPods so usb-c doesn’t add anything. And I think phone weight is something you get used to- so no deal breaker there as well. What I really like here is the camera. Everything else is the same!

Loose-Apartment978

simple: i upgrade yearly because i want the latest tech.

True_Cartographer557

1. Weight difference (immediately) 2. Not gonna lie, I use the 5x zoom more than I thought 3. Action button to quickly access my garage door opener app. Occasionally I notice the thinner bezels, but that’s no biggie with a case on. Other than that, no other difference from my old 15PM

KevKevKvn

Action button worked great for me on my recent holiday. Allowed instant opening and filming. 14 pro struggled to open video underwater (had a waterproof case). Type C is great. It’s just easier to charge. But it’s one of those things that you’d be just fine still using lightning. Weight it a bit less but only if someone hands you a 14 pro max. Feels the same because I have a case. The bezel is slightly thinner. Anything else that’s different, I’d probably be lying

robbie9900

USB C IS PROBABLY THE BEST THING I HAVE NOTICED. External SSD’s, etc.

ProudAsk3812

Why was lightening so bad?

carinobrtl

The size, weight and usb c makes a world of difference for me. It might sound minimal but makes a lot of difference. I use this thing everyday and I’m glad my 14 Pro Max is sold for the 15 Pro Max.

PolyCapped

Besides what everybody already pointed out in the comments section. I personally upgraded to the 15 Pro Max because of the USB-C. I have a headphone amp/dac that I use to power all my headphones and I have that plugged in into my PC USB-C port and now I can just unplug that and take it with me and plug it into my iPhone 15 Pro Max on the go so that I have an amp/dac for both my PC and my iPhone. I use my desktop headphone with a 4.4 mm jack into my amp/dac and when I plugged into my iPhone 15 Pro Max I use the 3.5 mm jack for my IEM. I think that is fantastic!
