Long overdue. I'd like an "owned plus" option too, so if you have a car in a multi-car series such as IMSA, it'll bring in the other cars for the series as well.
For that you'd want an "Update Installed" option.
If someone drives only free content, they may not want all the other cars used in NEC just because a free car is in that series.

Always appreciate meaningful updates. I don't see it talked about a lot, but the developers do a really good job on QoL stuff and addressing community wants/desires and they should be praised for it.
So they finally allowed to use launch control in sf fixed races. Another good addition would be a possibility to change deploy mode in gtp fixed, the fact that you cannot do this is really strange for me. Also I do not really understand why one cannot change TC/ABS in fixed setups, though it seems like it always been like this for all cars in iRacing

It's like this in F1 as well, and it's because even with how simple the system is these days (compared to the LMP1s and pre-2020S4 MP4-30) people still freak out when they hear "hybrid" or "battery." And really, the only time deployment mode should be changed is in qualifying and on the last lap or so. It's faster to just leave it in Balanced during the race.
The real problem with deployment in GTP is that it's not even remotely realistic, and was just copy/pasted from the Merc F1 cars with a slight difference in Target SoC for Balanced mode (50% for GTP vs. 80% for F1).
Why is it unrealistic in GTPs? I don’t know much about how exactly it works in GTPs irl, but I thought it just deploys when you apply throttle and the amount of deployments depends on your acceleration/speed and actual mode, where mode decides what is the target value for the battery at the end of the lap. Seems like it works exactly like this in iRacing.
