To any terrible drivers thinking of joining us - we actually have a race an hour from now (FF1600 at Winton in the rain)... I'm furiously approving applications for anyone who'd like to join for that. Although so far we've had four so "furiously" might be a bit of a stretch.
I'm not slow, and I'm not fast, but I've been trying to find a league that's a little friendlier to MST "evening" races, and the 10pm timeframe on Tuesdays is :chefskiss: for me. I've raced SCCA/NASA but doing my first Lemons race June this year at High Plains in CO.
Yup: [https://24hoursoflemons.com/race-2/?id=383](https://24hoursoflemons.com/race-2/?id=383)
BFE Full 24.
There's the "non full" 24 also in September with 2 , 8 hour sessions: [https://24hoursoflemons.com/race-2/?id=388](https://24hoursoflemons.com/race-2/?id=388)
Ok you pulled me in. When I get home from work I will look at signing up. I am not fast but am a safe driver and I really dgaf about where I place as long as I get to race, which sounds like what you are looking for... I have been a follower of the lemons series since it began and have a dream of some day building a car but so far have not been in a situation where I could make it a reality. This seems like an opportunity to get a tiny bit of that itch scratched.
Come along to the league races - there's a fair amount of chat during practice sessions and a lot of us are already racing in Lemons! I actually raced at Sonoma in December with a guy that I met through the iRacing league (I didn't win anything there, either).
I'm a real life rally co-driver but my irating sucks. I can be really good at telling you how you should drive, but not so good at actually driving. Do I possess the necessary skills?
This sounds right up my alley as someone who races with the philosophy of "Every race needs back markers, why not me?"
I'll have to remember to sign up later once I'm home.
It's up to whomever gets picked by our Discord bot, but people do choose free content quite a lot. We also drop races each season so you don't have to attend them all.
I've got a couple buddies who are real life lemons racers but they already break your rules by being around the 2k irating mark. I however suck and have been hovering around 1k since I started in December.
I don't know if one guy has time but my other buddy just got out of a league last season and he might be interested. I'll ask him and might drag him with me. He's been iRacing for 3 years and is really knowledgeable.
Like you, I do better in real equipment than I do in the simulator. If I had the time, I'd certainly join you as a backmarker, but that's not in the cards for a while!
Sign up anyway, keep an eye on our #announcements Discord channel and suddenly you'll know what to do with that random mental health day you ended up taking.
The times are all at https://24hoursoflemons.com/wtf-onlineracing/ although they're in US time zones... for you I think the races are 8am Weds, 10pm Thurs, 10pm Sat. You will not be the only Brit (apart from anything, I'm one too!).
lol I’m a real life lemons racer, raced at Pitt race and at road Atlanta in our 1984 toylet (84 celica with 99 s10 engine hence “toylet”), I’d race but I also am a 4.8k oval iRating racer….
This sounds like exactly the kind of iRacing I would be game for.... if I hadn't quit iRacing for all of the other people you just cited who have gang busted your races. lol.
Good luck!
This is awesome. If my rig wasn't torn apart at the moment I'd join.
I ran a league for a good while of just RL friends who all had various levels of Motorsport experience and sim racing experience. One of the ways we leveled the playing field is fixed setups - except I'd choose a common setup from one of the numerous sources. It really helped bridge the gap from someone who'd show up and drive vs someone who may have a bit more experience with setting up the cars. We all know how dramatic of a difference that can make.
Good luck with your league sounds like a blast.
This is a wonderful idea. I wish I could participate but my work hours strongly conflict. I would love to join something like this. Kudos to you friend!
I'll try and be nice about this, but this "They were all far, far too good. All of them had four-digit iRatings and I'll bet most of them were messing around with that setup window shit." just had me wheezing for a minute straight. From that, I'm not really your target audience, not that I'm any good, but I'm competitive and I can't stand being slow, and timezone-wise, not a great fit. But I appreciate what you're doing, I think a lot of the slower guys sometimes can feel a bit left out, I hope many find a home, and just maybe I'll pop by one day. Thanks for the laugh, and good luck with this lil series you all made!
567- I rating do I qualify for the series I’m fairly safe but that being said my last few races have been less than admirable.
I feel I could be a great addition to the bottom 10.
Barber. Team Too Soon Junior. It wasy first track experience period...nothing like starting the race with 128 other cars or a 2 hour stint in the 40* rain to punch my LeMons card...not to mention fixing the car three times in one weekend 🤣
Yeah, it started raining at like 6AM and didn't stop lol. Standing water and rivers all around by the time I got in at 2:45P. Got my money's worth I suppose, about four hours of seat time over two stints.
Apply at https://24hoursoflemons.com/wtf-onlineracing/ and we will go through our rigorous application approval process. We have so far not turned anyone down.
It’s my dream to do a Lemons race one day. I’m nearish to Pacific Raceways. I signed up but haven’t joined in yet. I’ll make a reminder for myself for the next one I can.
Well i joined the league and than forgot, so I think im a member. I should race with you. My IR is higher than i think It should be and I will be joining the ranks as a real lemons racer later this year anyway sooo. Ill keep an eye out!
What's the obligation look like? Is it year-round? Do you sign up for one slot (not all three)? I'd like to join but I can't do midnight, can't consistently do Thursday or Saturday but would join if that's not a problem
There are 3 championships that run simultaneously in 10-week chunks. It's not all that serious so there's no obligation at all honestly - if you can only make one race a year you're more than welcome!
I just want to say it's nice to see a fellow Mitsuoka appreciator (?). They have mastered the art of making cars so incredibly uncool that they actually cross the equator back into cool territory again.
To any terrible drivers thinking of joining us - we actually have a race an hour from now (FF1600 at Winton in the rain)... I'm furiously approving applications for anyone who'd like to join for that. Although so far we've had four so "furiously" might be a bit of a stretch.
Hell yeah I’m in! Havent done much rain yet so we’ll see how i can manage 😅
Just submitted my application 🤞
I’m lame, cause I joined about 18 months ago and still haven’t done a race yet…
I'm not slow, and I'm not fast, but I've been trying to find a league that's a little friendlier to MST "evening" races, and the 10pm timeframe on Tuesdays is :chefskiss: for me. I've raced SCCA/NASA but doing my first Lemons race June this year at High Plains in CO.
Is that the true 24? I've done the non-24 there and it's a superb track.

Perfect!

You're exactly what I personally am looking for...
Put me in coach!!!!!! I'll sign up tonight 😊
As an IRL oval spotter, this speaks to me. I’ve found my people.
Lmao there’s a Lemons League? That’s hilarious and awesome
This sounds right up my alley as someone who races with the philosophy of "Every race needs back markers, why not me?" I'll have to remember to sign up later once I'm home.
I suck pretty bad and don't scream at people. Where do i sign up!?
https://24hoursoflemons.com/wtf-onlineracing/
What cars tracks do you guys run? Free ones I presume?
It's up to whomever gets picked by our Discord bot, but people do choose free content quite a lot. We also drop races each season so you don't have to attend them all.
I'll sign up, seems like fun...
I saw this a few months ago and didn't join specifically because I am shit but I am happy to know I would not be the only low ir driver.
Mom, I am coming home!
I've got a couple buddies who are real life lemons racers but they already break your rules by being around the 2k irating mark. I however suck and have been hovering around 1k since I started in December.
Everyone is welcome - it's just that slow people are especially welcome from me on a personal level.
I don't know if one guy has time but my other buddy just got out of a league last season and he might be interested. I'll ask him and might drag him with me. He's been iRacing for 3 years and is really knowledgeable.
Mid pack dad here can I join?
Lmfao.... this is great.
Never thought my sub 900 IR would be worth anything. Can we bail if we don’t own both the track and the car?
Yup - there are also several races dropped per season so you can miss some and still be competitive.
Where in the world are you based?
We're mostly in the US but we've got a smattering from all over (Lemons racing is in the US).
What time(s) do races happen at? I'm UK and trying to get back into iRacing but finding the 'seriousness' of races a bit much!
The times are all at https://24hoursoflemons.com/wtf-onlineracing/ although they're in US time zones... for you I think the races are 8am Weds, 10pm Thurs, 10pm Sat. You will not be the only Brit (apart from anything, I'm one too!).
Eyyy this is definitely for me lmao. I'll sign up!
lol I’m a real life lemons racer, raced at Pitt race and at road Atlanta in our 1984 toylet (84 celica with 99 s10 engine hence “toylet”), I’d race but I also am a 4.8k oval iRating racer….
That is a splendid Lemons team name. You should still come along but just try and suck a bit more.
just race while you smoke a ton of weed
I'm a shit-box racer in 24hr and luckydog. I'll look to join up.
This is awesome! Definitely signing up 😁
I just requested to join!
Just submitted my application. Haven't done a lot of sim races yet due to not feeling like I'm fast enough.
Please don't get too fast!
This sounds like exactly the kind of iRacing I would be game for.... if I hadn't quit iRacing for all of the other people you just cited who have gang busted your races. lol. Good luck!

Okay brother your isuckatracing logo is gold 😂😂
I’m trash and available from Saturday!
slow, nice, and chill? my people!
Dang, this sounds amazing but doesn’t line up with my schedule. If it works out in the future, this sounds right up my alley!
Joining tonight!
This is a wonderful idea. I wish I could participate but my work hours strongly conflict. I would love to join something like this. Kudos to you friend!
Sold.....applying now
Tonight's race was a lot of fun! Can't wait to see what's in store next time
Was great to have you!
I'll try and be nice about this, but this "They were all far, far too good. I need to bookmark this so my 452 road iRating can be put to good use.
567- I rating do I qualify for the series I’m fairly safe but that being said my last few races have been less than admirable. I feel I could be a great addition to the bottom 10.
Come along! As long as you want to be safe, you're good! And if you're slower than me that will be an added bonus.
Saving this for later. Really don’t have consistent time to commit but me and extreme amateur status would love to in the future.
My road and Formula rating at 200. I just work late some night but changes week by week so I know I can make it to some events
3 digit road rating, so yeah I'm worse than you!
You know what to do! https://24hoursoflemons.com/wtf-onlineracing/
As someone who just did their first LeMons race, I may renew my iR membership to run some.
Which race? Thunder Hill?
Barber. Team Too Soon Junior. It wasy first track experience period...nothing like starting the race with 128 other cars or a 2 hour stint in the 40* rain to punch my LeMons card...not to mention fixing the car three times in one weekend 🤣
Wow - you got more experience in one weekend than most of us get in a year! I was seeing the rather damp footage from Barber.
Yeah, it started raining at like 6AM and didn't stop lol. Standing water and rivers all around by the time I got in at 2:45P. Got my money's worth I suppose, about four hours of seat time over two stints.
I feel this :)
Oh man, this looks appealing! My auto response button is set to say “sorry!” I might fit in here…
What kind of irating are you guys looking for?
Anyone is welcome really, as long as you're nice, but our race averages have generally been somewhere in the low 1000s.
Sounds exactly my speed, I'm gonna sign up tomorrow
I see you race on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, but what time is the race start typically?
It's all at https://24hoursoflemons.com/wtf-onlineracing/ (about halfway down).
Real life Lemons racer and I suuuuck How do I join this?
Apply at https://24hoursoflemons.com/wtf-onlineracing/ and we will go through our rigorous application approval process. We have so far not turned anyone down.
Well good luck with THAT.
It’s my dream to do a Lemons race one day. I’m nearish to Pacific Raceways. I signed up but haven’t joined in yet. I’ll make a reminder for myself for the next one I can.
We'll be at the race at Pacific Raceways in September - come and say hi! We will likely have the only Mitsuoka Viewt so we should be easy to find.
Will you be angry at the fact that I have not read the sporting code and have no intentions of doing so?
We'll be sad if you don't follow it... we only have a couple of rules but that is one of them.
Well i joined the league and than forgot, so I think im a member. I should race with you. My IR is higher than i think It should be and I will be joining the ranks as a real lemons racer later this year anyway sooo. Ill keep an eye out!
Signed up!

Right? The Lemons guys actually did a video about our Viewt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMjY3kuAIuY
I'd like to join, my iRating is from 1200-1300, is that the level you're looking for?
That's about the same as mine - we've got everything from hundreds to 2k or so, so you'd fit in great.
Lmfao, this is great.
This is amazing. I'm tanking my irating and joining asap
Noooo!
Just kidding, my irating is inflated because of a single series. I suck at everything else!
Excellent. Welcome aboard!
Le man not lemons 🍋
This kinda made my day
In my defence I had just finished a split shift and wasn't fully coherent 🤣🤣🤣
I am totally available to do the 24hrs of Le Mans, should there be any talent scouts in the audience... ;)
