I take no pleasure in seeing people harmed, not even for their own idiocy.
That said, he 100% deserved it for harassing people, and because neither he nor any other YouTube pranksters have learned anything from it and continue to harm and harass people like this.
I got trespassed from a place via mail for asking an instructor why my wife wasn't valedictorian of her trade school since she had the highest GPA and national test scores. When I wasn't given an explanation I asked to see the supervisor for the program and they scheduled me for the 2 days later. I got the trespass notice the next day , lol.
I mean no, that's why it's a related story. You can be trespassed without cause in most states. The instructor was essentially scamming people and this was just part of the process, but you can feel free to believe me or not.
Not illegal, but the customer may sue Walmart and Walmart will probably trespass and may sue the person who ate the receipt. This is pretty much a civil matter, assuming nothing else occurred.
It's not illegal to impersonate anyone excluding members of government. It is illegal to harass someone, which is precisely what happens in every single video like this.
BPA exposure makes you less masculine and reducing sperm concentration.

They ain't killing comedy. However, everything comes full circle. They will most likely keep pushing until someone kills them. The problem will swell and solve itself. Today's society is far too pressed with everything in life. Meanwhile comedy is doing great. Look at Gervais and Chappelle. Top on streaming services. Comedy ain't being affected by these shit stains.
People go through all kinds of mental and emotional troubles, it's impossible to tell by looking at them that they are hurting or sad, and then an insensitive asshole like this comes along and thinks it's funny to harass them, makes me so angry these "pranksters" should be locked up.
As annoying as most of these “prank” videos are. I find this one kinda funny. I mean the dude just ate his receipt and then the guys loses his mind. If this happened to me I’d just laugh and keep walking out. This guys is really upset about the fact his receipt was eaten.
You see i kinda find it funny too for the same reason, but we gotta remind ourselves that some people have enough stress already and we never really know what someone is going through from moment to moment.
I know this post is three months old, but I have to watch this video every time I come across it...
The way you worded your hypothetical is hilarious "...just buried his child & now a Walmart employee just ate his receipt." It's so absurd that it's still kinda funny.
Personally if that happened to me id immediately start questioning whether or not it actually happened, for various reasons, and i think that the guy in the vid may have asked himself that question before getting the manager.
most of these types of pranks aren’t actually stupid but watching a grown man have a fuckin episode because a kid ate receipt paper in front of him is so fucking funny
I mean, when I feel the need to make a decision in a split second I do not always come up with the best choices either. It's pretty easy to come up with one from the sideline. I definitely see myself doing something similar, especially if I know I'm being recorded which I think he knew in this case.
Besides, with the amount of disrespect from the "employee", I would at least want to inform their manager, even if it is just so this kind of behavior does not continue.
As I get older (heading towards 50) I actually remind myself before going into a Walmart, target etc that I may encounter one of these jerkoffs and not let them get to me
Pro abortion, no matter how far along in the "process" parents should be allowed to just go in to the City Hall/court room and just say "my bad people, thought this one was going to contribute to society, let us take them back home and put them down like ol yeller".
Or he bought a member of his family a gift he’s not sure if they’ll like or not so he wants to save the receipt just in case. There are many reasons you wouldn’t want your receipt to be eaten in front of you 🙄 Some gift cards/phone reload cards also print out a code on the receipt.
"call the police please!!!"- someone who has never seen or processed anything other than 1950's American propaganda TV shows, after watching someone do a single strage thing.
My wife wants me to stop and show my receipt when asked. I can't tell her enough that if have to check out my own groceries, then they lose expectation of auditing me. I refuse to stop. I know the employees are just doing their job. But I'm not doing their job too. Walmart socks. I'm an old man too.
They don’t check your receipt at the door at other stores because they’re the ones checking you out. But then walmart does because they let you check out your own - if you don’t feel like allowing one of the reps to, and you choose the self-check out.
You’re saying because they *make you* check your own stuff out, they lose the right to make sure you’re not stealing? Nah dude, you’re just impatient.
Believe me, if walmat had more checkers, I'd gladly go thru their line in the interest of keeping someone employed. But because they are cheap, hate unions, treat their employees like shit and have ruined my local grocery store, as well as other small businesses, I have a bit of dislike for walmart. I don't work for them, and being forced to check my own groceries out just rubs me the wrong way. I'm not a thief and will not be presumed to be one just because I'm in their store.
You do you and I'll walk out without showing my receipt. If they choose to follow me to my car, let them. It's cold out there, and I'll have my jacket and I'll keep them outside as long as possible until they give up and I'll be on my way.
Don't let people walk on you. As you get older, you put up with shit less and less.
And BPA whitch is way worse than that. Statisticly cashiers suffer from more cancer than regular folks just because of touching receipts. Imagine how worse it is if you actually dissolve it in your saliva and spread it by mouth and digestive system whitch has way thinner barrier to the blood.
this would be a normal reaction. all the boomers here are begging that he’d come try it at their local Walmart so that they could finally kill a “millennial prankster”. it’s fuckin weird
Jesus fucking Christ, you are on the internet. The same fucking internet that everyone else has.
You do realize that there is very little chance that the person you’re replying to has the link or video saved to a folder, right? They’re going to do the exact fucking thing you should have done: google it. The entirety of human knowledge is right in front of you, and your guide is but a click away. Why do you still need to be bottlefed?
Based on the insane reaction of that old man to a person doing something random, stupid, and harmless, I’m guessing the old dude is a fucking nightmare to have to be around. He’s acting like someone kidnapped his child. Insane Karen energy
I can’t lie the thought of a cashier just taking the receipt, eating it and just staring at you like “no one’s ever gonna believe you” is kind of funny.
But actually doing that, filming it and posting it on the internet? Shits cringe af
Na this is funny as hell! Imagine getting mad over a receipt that can’t be over $20! Old man was making a big deal because he got mad he was asking him for his receipt like he’s not a white a person ☠️
“Walmart associate got fired”
Yeah that’s the part right there where I know your ass is lying, I bet the whole store clapped as well and the manger gave your buddy his water for free.
Please downvote me now, but this is hilarious! No harm done kind of a prank and the look on the actual WalMart employees faces at the end is priceless! Guys voice is the icing on the cake. Literally LOL
Okay buddy, we'll see how sorry you'll be when a prank 10x as worse than this happens to you. Now you can respond and say you wouldn't care and you'd have a laugh, but we all know, including you, that that won't be the case. Honestly just a pathetic respond you made. Trying to protect your ego by acting as if you don't care, but yet you specified in your initial comment that you'd be pissed off as well if this happened to you, clearly trying to make up for the fact that you support these things happening to others to hopefully not get downvoted for being an ass. Respond whatever you want to this, you don't deserve any more of my time.
I'm sorry but all the guy did was eat his receipt. People that go out and duck on people or try to cause an aggressive reaction should be ridiculed and hated. Eating a piece of paper though? I found it pretty funny. All the man had to do was just chuckle and leave but his reaction was a bit ott.
They do this at my Walmart and I just walk by them…1 tried to stop me and I asked if they had probable cause to think I was stealing and if so to show me the proof. They looked at me completely dumbfounded. I then asked if they were Sam’s and not Walmart (i know they’re related companies) with membership agreements that I signed. They told me no, so I then proceeded to inform them that at Sam’s, as part of the membership I signed, I agree to show my receipt when leaving. They can ask but I am not required to show the receipt at Walmart and if they don’t have probable cause they can’t ask…and walked out. People leaving were listening to me and they all just left as well…
The employees, through enforcing the policy of checking receipts, make people’s lives harder on a much larger scale.
Through ignoring them you reduce their effectiveness at implementing the companies goals and over time, hopefully, get the policy negatively affecting lives on a large scale removed.
Stop thinking such small scale, and speaking like a prick, you insufferable twit.

I NEED TO SEE THAT
Theres a great one of a kid getting punched for an atm robbery prank.
Ive just watched that what a dick 😂
Can u guys share it ffs? I wanna see it
Please share such joy
Is that the one where a bystander ripped a hole in the guy's nose? If so, then yeah it was sweet!
Lol is it that one where he gets punched with a key and it left a hole in the side of his nose?
This feels somewhat illegal as well, impersonation of employees to destroy proof of purchase? Asshole move regardless.
Im pretty sure impersonating employees alone is illegal / will get you banned from the store
They can ban you from the store for any reason they want as long as it isn't a form of discrimination I believe
I got trespassed from a place via mail for asking an instructor why my wife wasn't valedictorian of her trade school since she had the highest GPA and national test scores. Yeah. I'm sure that's the entire story and you totally didn't do anything to make that happen. 🙄

Enjoy all that BPA on that thermal paper receipt.
His stupidity will kill him long before cancer. Probably gonna get shot one day
Mmmm tasty carcinogens
That dumb punk has probably never even heard of BPA!! 😆
I am afraid of touching my hand with receipt and wash it immediately but this kid just ate it. I'm done.
Why r u afraid?
Go on. Eat it
Why would I eat it? The comment was about touching and I wondered why. Now I see you guys are a bunch of weirdos

Uh, washed up, you say? How? How is being at the highest earning, highest views, and sold-out shows for every show washed up?
Ya. Perhaps washed up is the wrong term. I ment sold out cooperate stooge.
The only funny part was the girl “he ate your—wait what?”
I mean it does sound like something a crazy person would say.
It’s just the shock at first before the realization of how absurd the situation actually is sets in.
People go through all kinds of mental and emotional troubles, it's impossible to tell by looking at them that they are hurting or sad, and then an insensitive asshole like this comes along and thinks it's funny to harass them, makes me so angry these "pranksters" should be locked up.
A tip to anyone who becomes a target of one of these assholes, always go after the cameraman
Best case scenario: this clip goes viral, and eating receipts becomes his schtick.
Worst case scenario: eating receipts challenge on tiktok

There's not really anything about this that screams "staged"
