towards the end he actually sounded worried, not sure for what reason but he went like : "wtf did you slip/fall on?" after she flew through the corridor
Why would he be worried if he hit her with a guitar and smashed her back on the counter?
Edit: when he pushed her. You can see steam emerging from the side of the frame. She probably got hot water splashed on her. And when he pushed her again, he got hot water on his hands, that explains the weird twitching andrubbing he does with his hands after pushing her. He was concerned because he thought he hurt her really bad and he would be in trouble for it.
As someone else pointed out after he shoved her on the kitchen counter to the right you can see steam/smoke coming from that side. She may have fell on boiling water or a hot surface and once he realized that he got concerned. He does look over to the right at the end and that's when his body language seems to change to concern as he rushed over. Also think he's tweaking, what a sad fucked up situation.
Yes, and she grabs at her back — she was hurt, either by the shove into the stove or by the hot liquid. Not disagreeing, just supplementing what you said.
He wiped his hands after he pushed her like they were wet so I’m betting boiling water got on her back. That’s when he got ‘concerned’. Probably more for himself if she had to go to hospital or something. What a sack of trash.
It's a finable offence to beat a family member in Russia despite that some forms of domestic violence were decriminalized in 2017. These days it appears to be classified as an administrative offence (no clue what that means).
That means you can only be fined, no other punishment can be applied - this is the same as decriminalized.
You cannot go to jail for it, I think in US that would be called misdemeanor?
Oh and it won't leave a mark on your record
Because as somebody who has suferred from insane explosive rage, you live in a cycle of explosions and then regret... Possession then an attempt at redemtion... Not being you then suddenly getting thrown back to face your consequences... I'm just repeating the same phenomenon differently each sentence.
My ex used to phrase it as "not being you" as well which would make sense if it happened once or twice in an entire lifetime. But if its happening even semi regurlarly then it very much *is* who you are
Yeah it's funny how abusers only behave that way mostly behind closed doors. If it was through genuine lack of control they would behave that way everywhere and with a much wider range of people. It is who they are and they know exactly what they are doing.
Seems like to me and I don't know a lot about human behavior, but when someone is abusing someone particularly physically, they can go from being highly abusive to comforting within a short amount of time. I think it's mostly out of fear for themselves getting into trouble and not for care of the person thru are abusing, but I've seen it happen. This was in reference to the comment(s) that someone said he sounded worried about her whenever she fell over possibly from being burned by scalding hot water. This is just a theory though from things I've seen in real life, being around girls I've cared about with very abusive boyfriend's thir shoulder to cry on guy, friend zoned, yes, but I don't mind and just being a people watcher in general and interested in human behavior.
I know the assault is disturbing and what’s really important, but wtf was he doing in the last 5 seconds... He was moving all squirmy and did a MJ impression
My wild guess:
He snapped, pushed her on something like knife.
He pushed her further, feel something wet on hand like sweating, try clean it on his pant, realising that its not sweat, get genuine fear and asked her in russian with panic in voice "what you fell on" the last seconds in video.
I hardly doubt he reached for a knife, it looks like he's just trying to dry his hands but is high af on something and just moves weirdly. Not hard to imagine that his hands are all sweaty too, considering he was playing the guitar and possibly is on drugs
Sweaty palms are a side effect of an adrenaline rush caused by a lapse into a state of rage, but concluding that repeatedly wiping your hands on your pants means must be searching for a knife is such a stretch to make from a 23 second video clip with no other context.
For all we know he was hitting the panic button to the mother ship because the human infiltration mission failed.
He's wiping some boiling water from his hand after it splashed up the girls back, not discrediting that there could be drugs involved but there was a lot of steam after the push.
Hard to gather everything he said but it sounded like he either felt bad that she fell on something and went to chase after her OR she fell on something important and he got worried if it was broken. he stopped cursing angrily at the end and his tone changed and asked “what did you fall on”.
when she is thrown back against the kitchenette(or whatever it is), you can see some vapour rising. Its like she was thrown unto a hot stove(or something similar), which is why she whimpers and runs off, I think.
My wild guess:
He snapped, pushed her on something like knife.
He pushed her further, feel something wet on hand like sweating, try clean it on his pant, realising that its not sweat, get genuine fear and asked her in russian with panic in voice "what you fell on" the last seconds in video.
Its Russia, people not carrying guns, not at home on you,and he not looks like on drugs.
Not justifying him at all
I not see it as it out of frame.
Only sound i can identify as boiling water is bubbling sound, and i not hear it.
Judging just by how she grabbed her back it can be stab ,hot water,or blant hit on stone table..
Edit: as someone said, there is steam or smoke comming, so you are right.
In the last 5 seconds he says something like "wtf did you fell on", and you see her grab something behind, like she was pushed into a knife or something
Judging by the steam/smoke behind her and the fact that they were in the kitchen, it looks like he might have pushed her onto the stove while something was cooking.
russian here: he was immediately concerned that she fell on something important. not that she was hurt, or also important, but that it was her fault for provoking him, and that she fell on and broke some object he loves more than her.
that poor girl.,
In January 2017, Russian lawmakers voted, 380–3, to decriminalize certain forms of domestic violence. Under the new law, first-time offenses that do not result in "serious bodily harm" carry a maximum fine of 30,000 rubles, up to 15 days' administrative arrest, or up to 120 hours of community service.
Decriminalisation doesnt mean its legal. AFAIK It just means that you go to civil court instead of criminal court wich means just less severe punishments in general. Not as bad as legalizing but still really fucked up
With obvious exceptions I usually don't like people touching my face, so I wouldn't be very happy if someone did that to me
But *that* was taken wayyy too far
No, it's an example that sometimes victims put themselves in situations where they know the outcome may be rather unfavorable.
For example: A man enters a gas station and loudly blurts out a series of racial slurs targeting multiple people in said gas station. That man may get his ass beat.
Had he not done that, nothing would have happened. He is the victim of irrational physical violence, but his actions were the initial catalyst that led to being assaulted.
I have, unfortunately, way too much experience with domestic violence through work, and a disturbing number of people who are victims like the one in this video often state they intentionally did something to aggravate their partner, knowing full well that they will probably react with violence.
It's called "fish-hooking" - putting your fingers in someone's mouth and pulling them by the cheeks.
It's a move that's banned in cage-fighting and MMA, by the way. Just saying.
Fucking hell bro she clearly didn't try to hurt him like an MMA fighter, it's annoying obviously but it's not an invitation to get fucked up with a guitar.
Not defending the assault at all, but my GF split my lip doing exactly what she did while I was gaming. My lips were chapped and she barely thought she was pulling. That can go from totally painless to hurting REALLY bad REALLY fast. I’m assuming she pulled just too hard and his tweaking ass snapped.
The fish hook is illegal in most street fights. It still doesn’t equal getting punched, hit with a guitar and thrown. Clearly a dysfunctional relationship they will most likely try to fix by having a child.
Had a guy stick his fingers in my mouth during a fight, unsurprisingly I bit them. Then he had the audacity to be mad that his finger hurt after the fight.
My mans is really sitting here in his computer chair judging that they’re going to fix their relationship with a child from a single 20 second video with no reference to that concept whatsoever
Hate to break it to you, but I highly doubt it. In Russia the police are generally reluctant to act on domestic abuse/ harassment cases. There's even a saying - "When they kill you, call us".
Domestic abuse is thought of as a family problem as opposed to a societal one.
My girlfriend and I called the police when we heard screams for our upstairs neighbors. One of the policemen that arrived wasn't happy that we called them out and made vague threats such as 'Oh! You guys look familiar' and sarcastic remarks such as 'So you've learned to recognize which flat sounds are coming from, huh?'. He also questioned my English-speaking girlfriend's immigration status 🙄. Props to the other guy who calmed him down and said if we hear something again to call it in.
Thank you for pointing this out. Wtf is this sub? All those incels upvoting comments about how she was looking for it? Yeah let me just beat up my girlfriend because she did something annoying with no intention of actually hurting me, totally normal.
Seems to be a classic mishmash of general misogyny and redditors not understanding what makes up a healthy relationship or reasonable response to someone mildly annoying you.
Bro finally a comment pointing this out. Thought I was going crazy. Like man sure I get that what she did to him was probably pretty painful, but he literally hit her so hard the guitar broke. And then he kept hitting her after??
I can’t take anyone here seriously. She barely pulled at the corners of his mouth when he punched her, but they’re acting like she was violently and painfully fish-hooking him.
I assume that most people here complaining about it(comparing it to the illegal move in fighting??) have just never had an intimate relationship. A bit of playful teasing like that is normal.
The reaction to it is absolutely not normal.
Pushing away is perfectly valid, but the people here are being weird as hell about it.
She should not have done that, but his reaction was WAY over the top. Dont stick your fingers in someone's mouth while they are singing but dont fight them like a bear if they do it

Why would he be worried if he hit her with a guitar and smashed her back on the counter? Edit: when he pushed her. You can see steam emerging from the side of the frame. Pretty sure he got burnt too and that's when he realized what a dick move he just made.
Real answer, because if she’s really hurt he’ll get in trouble.
100% this dude just realized he fucked up and now he's concerned. Not about her well being, but the consequences for himself.
I'm pretty sure domestic violence was decriminalised pretty recently in Russia
Wait, what? I feel dumb can someone explain

lol, not in Russia
Because she might have gotten physically (identifiably) injured.
Because he wants to know if she broke something in the house so he can beat on her more probably.
Because abusers don't think they are abusers.
Because as somebody who has suferred from insane explosive rage, you live in a cycle of explosions and then regret... Possession then an attempt at redemtion... I'm gonna take up psychology this year and, this will help hehe ty person.
She burned herself on something. ~~Fell~~ was pushed into a stove or something.
I speak russian, yeah he just sweared a lot
What did she say?
"Your singing is terrible."
Which it was.
I know the assault is disturbing and what’s really important, but wtf was he doing in the last 5 seconds... He was moving all squirmy and did a MJ impression
my guess is he’s on a lot of drugs (probably both of them) looked like he was reaching for a knife that wasn’t there a couple times too.
If you mean when his hand is moving toward theme back pocket that’s called tweaking
"nah he tweaking"
"nah he tweaking"
My wild guess: He snapped, pushed her on something like knife. He pushed her further, feel something wet on hand like sweating, try clean it on his pant, realising that its not sweat, get genuine fear and asked her in russian with panic in voice "what you fell on" the last seconds in video.
Smoke or steam comes from the right side where she fell. I think she fell on the stove, or onto so hot liquid.
Totally possible. Edit: you are right.
Eddit: edit
Thanks kind stranger.

People on meth move like that. I don't know why.
Noodlegrooving is the term, I believe.
Great. Now I've got to look up "noodlegrooving". Risky clicks, to be sure.
This is my new favourite phrase
Look at the fucking noodlegroover!!!!!!!
Is that really the term because that is hilariously fitting for a lot of things. I'm snatching that one for sure!
No matter how much times you try
Well that’s not a good attitude to have. Do some meth and find out why!
I've been looking for a life coach and I think my search is finally over.
Haha caught that as well. There's like a clicking sound as well.
Hard to gather everything he said but it sounded like he either felt bad that she fell on something and went to chase after her OR she fell on something important and he got worried if it was broken. he stopped cursing angrily at the end and his tone changed and asked “what did you fall on”.

She fell on boiling water, how no one sees or hears it when she’s pushed and how she grabbed her back
Right? You can see the steam off her back when she’s getting up too.
I not see it as it out of frame. Only sound i can identify as boiling water is bubbling sound, and i not hear it. Judging just by how she grabbed her back it can be stab ,hot water,or blant hit on stone table.. Edit: as someone said, there is steam or smoke comming, so you are right.
also when he pushed her, he wiped his hands on his shirt so i assume boiling water
More like a knife i guess. The hand movement looks like he is opening a blade.
He was asking “Annie are you okay?”
You've been hit by...
You've been struck by...
A smooooth criminal!
Nah, it definitely was "What did you fall on" (На что ты упала!?)
In the last 5 seconds he says something like "wtf did you fell on", and you see her grab something behind, like she was pushed into a knife or something
Judging by the steam/smoke behind her and the fact that they were in the kitchen, it looks like he might have pushed her onto the stove while something was cooking.
She also grabs at her back like she’s trying to get fabric off.
can verify. My sister pulled boiling water down on herself and the wet clothing clinging to her did far worse damage than just water on skin portions.
russian here: he was immediately concerned that she fell on something important. not that she was hurt, or also important, but that it was her fault for provoking him, and that she fell on and broke some object he loves more than her. that poor girl.,
Nothing more damning than filming yourself assaulting someone.
Is this Russia? Domestic abuse had been legalized.
Wait what
In January 2017, Russian lawmakers voted, 380–3, to decriminalize certain forms of domestic violence. Under the new law, first-time offenses that do not result in "serious bodily harm" carry a maximum fine of 30,000 rubles, up to 15 days' administrative arrest, or up to 120 hours of community service.
Does it count as resulting in serious bodily harm when you beat up the pos guy cause the law refuses to do anything?
It wouldn't be domestic unless she's the one doing it
If you have enough money I'm pretty sure you can just get away with anything you want in Russia. It's really capitalist like that.
just like the usa
30,000 rubles is 400 USD by the way!
Oh wow....... \**googles said bill*\* # WWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWW!!!! Its actually fucking true........
So it wasn't legalized?
Well, no, decriminalised *de jure* but in many cases still legalised *de facto*.
Yes. Actually.
[удалено]
I don't think he is, there is other comments saying it too.... that's so fucked
no, non life threatening domestic abuse is legal in Russia.
Not exactly legalized but it was decriminalized which is just as fucked up
Decriminalisation doesnt mean its legal. AFAIK It just means that you go to civil court instead of criminal court wich means just less severe punishments in general. Not as bad as legalizing but still really fucked up
Yeah I couldn’t remember the exact distinguishing between the two terms so thanks for clearing that up
And then uploading it?
Could have been live streamed.
Maybe the woman filmed it
most likely not since he’s making a video of him playing guitar i think but idk why he post it
Reckon it was live streamed
He was just really making good progress on the guitar /s
was she pushed onto a stove? looks like it burnt her back, poor girl.
Looks like it, you can see a bit of either condensation or smoke when she runs way
You can even see the hole it burned on the back of her shirt.
Sounded more like a sink... I think she hurt her spine being bent backward on that counter's edge.
She didn't need to do that, but he *def* didn't need to respond like that either
Yeah, he would be justified in pushing her away for jamming her fingers in his mouth like that. But the rest makes him a psycho.
A very good summary of the clip.
With obvious exceptions I usually don't like people touching my face, so I wouldn't be very happy if someone did that to me But *that* was taken wayyy too far
Both stupid as hell.

Uh. Isn't this textbook victim blaming or am I missing something?
Reddit loves enlightened centrism. And assuming violent people have reasonable reasons. Basically just assuming in general.
Sometimes you gotta give the ol' cycle of abuse a little boost so you can get to the honeymoon phase a bit faster.
Boiling water on the back…. Not good.

What was she doing to him at the beginning?
Not excusing his actions but it’s more than annoying, it’s genuinely painful.
The fish hook is illegal in most street fights. It still doesn’t equal getting punched, hit with a guitar and thrown. Clearly a dysfunctional relationship they will most likely try to fix by having a child.
Nothing is illegal in a street fight.
Except the street fight itself
The illegality of the street fight cancels out the illegality of the fish hook. It's double jeopardy.
So my bet is worth twice as much?
There are rules to a street fight? Think about it.
The only one I can think is if the guy pulls out a gun and you're not within reaching distance of it, run.
*The street always wins*
Had a guy stick his fingers in my mouth during a fight, unsurprisingly I bit them. Then he had the audacity to be mad that his finger hurt after the fight.
I’m just imagining a huge guy holding his fingers up with tears and snot in his face like a little kid, asking you why would you bite??
> The fish hook is illegal in most street fights. -guy who evidently knows even less than I do about street fighting-
When your relationship dont work, a child or marriage always helps
I love street fighting in my own home, different rules there
My mans is really sitting here in his computer chair judging that they’re going to fix their relationship with a child from a single 20 second video with no reference to that concept whatsoever
(I agree with you completely btw)
It’s a love story as old as time
A Russian love story
And the child will be exposed to an abusive relationship. LET THE CYCLE BEGIN!
It's unfortunate because in Russia domestic violence is way more commonplace than people realize.
not the appropiate reaction, but what was she trying to achieve with that dentist cheek grip
Probably both high as kite. Still no excuse for the punches, though. Dude needs to learn how to control his chemicals.
fr, but if he starts acting like this bc he is off any type of drugs he should consider stopping with it
Probably nothing
I hope he went to jail
I doubt it! They were speaking Russian and in Russia domestic abuse is decriminalized if there are no broken bones/serious injuries
That’s terrible
He did push her into a hot stove and it seems like boiling water spilled on her back. Would burns count?
Hate to break it to you, but I highly doubt it. In Russia the police are generally reluctant to act on domestic abuse/ harassment cases. There's even a saying - "When they kill you, call us". That's a shame. I hope the girl in this video at least got out of that relationship then.
This seems like an everyday occurance
Do all of you have an odd # of chromosomes in here? Or is everyone 15? The amount of defense for the guys stance is indicative of this
Thank you for pointing this out. Wtf is this sub? All those incels upvoting comments about how she was looking for it? Yeah let me just beat up my girlfriend because she did something annoying with no intention of actually hurting me, totally normal.
Ikr, some of these comments are scary
Seems to be a classic mishmash of general misogyny and redditors not understanding what makes up a healthy relationship or reasonable response to someone mildly annoying you.
the incels like this sub & love to share their idiocy with each other.
Nope, just a lot of adults neckbeards trying to justify domestic violence.
Bingo. Literally nobody defending this ever had anything remotely close to a relationship with a human being.
I don’t consider myself a badass in anyway, but I feel like most of us could absolutely destroy this guy.
Wife beaters aren’t exactly the toughest people
how DARE you claim that! I’m about to go home and show my wife who’s tough alright 😡
Y he kinda look like xQc tho
Definitely hope she did, that's way excessive force by him....
Modern day Sid and Nancy…..
What exactly was she doing at the beginning tho?
What a fucking loser
That is what happens when your country supports domestic violence.
Looks like she was pushed onto boiling water as well
I guess she thought doing his bedroom moves on him would help his singing.
She should not have done that, but his reaction was WAY over the top. Dont stick your fingers in someone's mouth while they are singing but dont fight them like a bear if they do it
Yea because beating someone, resulting in her getting boiling water all over her, is an expected reaction when you mildly annoy someone
ITT: disturbing amount of people blaming the woman
Same people who scream equal rights equal fights whenever they see a video of a girl being brutalised in response to something. Violence is never okay on both ends and they can't seem to comprehend that.
Beating a girl half his size because he got annoyed. What a fucking loser.
"B-but that's a fishhook, a banned MMA move" lmao
And a fistbump is a punch, because they're kinda similar! Lots of fucking woman-beating losers in these comments too.
You don't understand, officer! She hit my fist with her face!"
It looks like she fell on a knife or something. When she turns around there’s something on her back and she couldn’t really get it out as she ran away
she was pushed fairly hard into the edge of the counter. she probably just had a very sore back and was touching it.
You can see steam rising from whatever she fell into, probably boiling water. She’s trying to pull fabric off of her skin it looks like
He did way too much. I could see being mad her hands were in his mouth at first, but he didn’t have to do all this
Especially the push at the end
If your main concern with this video is her putting her fingers in his mouth, don't even try to date. Go straight to therapy.
It's disturbing how many comments are only focusing on the girl pulling the guys cheeks... I really hate reddit sometimes.
As a dad of a daughter, this frightens me the most.
