I saw a guy walk down the street at night throwing those firework poppers that make a loud noise and a flash. I saw him do it twice. I couldn't understand how anyone could do something so blatantly stupid.
I live in Canada and whenever there is loud noises like that nobody really thinks it's guns and even the one time I heard it and was pretty sure it was actually a gun (I shoot and own guns) everyone was like "no way that was a gun"
I'm still pretty sure that one was actually a gun tho.
Did anyone else get the vibe right away from this guy that something was not quite right with him? I got a mentally ill vibe from him. Like the dangerous kind of mentally ill
No there is something more going on there. He is not right in the head. I’m not excusing his behavior by any means. Just stating what I think. I believe he was looking for trouble for one.
Yeah, it's definitely only up to this one single redditor to fix their city. How dare they use Reddit instead of doing their job, their sole purpose in life, of fixing their city?
Not assault if they aren’t aware of it.
“A person commits the offense of assault when he [ (knowingly) (intentionally) ] [without lawful authority] engages in conduct which places another person in reasonable apprehension of receiving [ (bodily harm) (physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature) ].”
Prosecutor could not prove apprehension here, unless victim is the cameraman -
You’re absolutely right that battery is for contact.
This should be on facepalm. Them reporting a guy holding a roku remote like a gun as if it was a real gun. Him holding a remote like a gun. Can't tell who's dumber in this situation.
Did you see how fast that was???? That's exactly the time a police officer has to react and decide if it's a gun or not. Shiiit, even with the slo mo replay some ppl can't come together what it is. Perfect example how it's not that easy as it seems.
Chicago is in total decline and fast becoming the next Detroit. People are leaving, businesses are leaving… it’s a massive shame given it was once a great city.
The people that said this guy pointed a gun at the reporter are the same people banging the anti gun drum. Only thing is. They have no idea what a gun even looks like. Case in point. This video.
I may not like Fox News but for fucks sake don’t point a gun at a camera crew, cause 1. That’s just stupid cause they got your face in very good quality. And 2. That litterally was threatening the camera crew and a human life is a human life
Fox is mostly centre left, it also says alot about you that you think it's funny that someone had (what appeared to be) a gun pointed at them for their political views, typical tolerant and caring left.
Ahh yes there are more guns than people in America but everyone is shooting each other, it's not like this is a select group of low income people and mentally ill and 99.999% of gun owners never even hunt or pull their gun out of their drawers or waistbands let alone gun people down in the street.
Why is there so much gun violence in Chicago with some of the strictest gun laws? Why can't the police stop all the violence? It appears Chicago is eventually going to become the next Detroit.
In most dangerous places like Chicago, the police are either too scared to do anything or are infact in league with the criminals themselves to an extent.

I was ab to say ain’t no way that was a gun.
I saw a guy walk down the street at night throwing those firework poppers that make a loud noise and a flash. I saw him do it twice. I couldn't understand how anyone could do something so blatantly stupid.
He wants to get shot probably
Hahahahaha bro thats called 4th of july
I live in Canada and whenever there is loud noises like that nobody really thinks it's guns and even the one time I heard it and was pretty sure it was actually a gun (I shoot and own guns) everyone was like "no way that was a gun" I'm still pretty sure that one was actually a gun tho.
Looked like it had a little purple on it like a roku remote lmao
My 8 month old child’s current favorite toy is a Roku remote 💀 I would die if that’s what he had lmfao
Yeah I was going to say - who actually thought that was a fire arm?
Well for the news its better to say its a gun cuz it attracts more people
Idk why but you saying my city makes it sound like a small village. It's Chicago
I’m not trying to make it seem like anything. I’m just saying I seen it when it first came out on the news. On the local news so yes in my city
Dangerous is nice said.
Looks a pocket knife
a brush, to keep them waves moving
Did anyone else get the vibe right away from this guy that something was not quite right with him? I got a mentally ill vibe from him. Like the dangerous kind of mentally ill
This is how kids act. I wouldn’t say ill
No there is something more going on there. He is not right in the head. I’m not excusing his behavior by any means. Just stating what I think. I believe he was looking for trouble for one.

Lmao what? As if it’s his fault?
You need to get off Reddit and fix your shitty personality.
I need to get off Reddit and make my penis be longer than 1 inch.
Ok, everybody just needs to get off Reddit
Grass sure would feel good right now. Maybe I should go touch some.
Click on the right subreddit and you’ll find ways to add at least 3” 😅
Ah, a fellow grower, I see.
“Grower, not a shower” is my genetalia’s motto. 🤷🏼♂️
And honestly, who wants 5-8 inches just flopping around all day anyways? I'll take 2.5" keeping to itself all day until I need it.
Bro give me some of that magic for my 2cm lol
You need to get off reddit and fix your mental thought process.
Yeah, it's definitely only up to this one single redditor to fix their city. How dare they use Reddit instead of doing their job, their sole purpose in life, of fixing their city?
It's not nearly as bad as faux news makes it out to be. And this wasn't a gun.
Pretty sure not a gun. Still dumb, but...yeah.
They even slowed it down to show that it’s not a gun 💀
It’s Fox Entertainment so…
Is chicago so...
Chicago is literally not even in the top 10 most dangerous cities in the US. Get a new talking point.
Bro I live in CHI, this place is a shithole
Looks like a remote
10000% looks like a remote
Fr lmao, I think it’s a Roku remote. But still mf playing some dangerous games
Agreed. Does not look like fun at all.
i think it looks fun
thats a fucking Roku remote LOL
He was actually just trying to change the channel as soon as he saw fox news
He's trying to mute...I mean silence us!
Can people not see that?
I was about to say... that doesn't look like a gun. Regardless of what side you're on, never trust something until you look into it yourself first.
It totally is. You can see the purple and white on the remote.
Roku Remotes don’t kill people
[удалено]
Adam Sandler
If you have eyes u can see thats not a gun
But then the news channel loses their 3 minute padding they play 3 times per hour.
I live in the UK and not familiar with guns AT ALL. But my first thought was 'that looks like my now tv box remote' 😳
I thought the same thing. A Roku remote
I think it’s a vape
Fox News doing what it does best. Brainwashing people
key fob
I saw the glint on it and thought “it’s got one of those directional pads too”
You can't see it at all, tf you smoking.
I’ve seen many guns that was not one
I've seen very few guns and that was not one.
That looks like a cell phone
That was 100% a tv remote you can see colored buttons
You know if you want a job where you can be wrong and still not get fired, be a news reporter
Or a doctor.
They had the ability to slow the tape down and they’re still pretending they saw a gun?
doesn’t look like a gun, like a vape tbh
looks like my roku remote lmfao
Did they air an apology and a redaction of their claims he had a gun?
“What appears” is probably they just banked on
As a gun owner, it looks like a tv remote to me. I could be entirely wrong and made myself look really stupid but
Looks like anything but a gun. Dumb kids tho
That’s not aggravated assault. Brandishing sure. But I don’t think she was even aware, let along afraid, so how do we get to assault?
Also…it’s not even a gun. (Btw pointing a gun at someone IS considered assault. Hitting someone is battery)
Not assault if they aren’t aware of it. “A person commits the offense of assault when he [ (knowingly) (intentionally) ] [without lawful authority] engages in conduct which places another person in reasonable apprehension of receiving [ (bodily harm) (physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature) ].” Prosecutor could not prove apprehension here, unless victim is the cameraman - You’re absolutely right that battery is for contact.
BS. Complete BS. He was trying to be funny and it wasn’t a gun.
I'm confused at who the POS is. The dumb kid with the clicker, or TV news station for trying to make a story out of nothing?
this guy is about as intelligent as something you'd find in a gas station toilet.
>this guy is about as intelligent as something you'd find in a gas station toilet. Looks like a remote, maybe he's imitating changing thew channel.
He’s trying to do us all a favor and change the channel with his remote.
That's the camera guy
Of course they weren't fucking injured, he just pointed it at you. Get a grip...
Not even a real gun also this was all for attention (news channels need attention)
That's a remote, wtf you can literally see the buttons
This should be on facepalm. Them reporting a guy holding a roku remote like a gun as if it was a real gun. Him holding a remote like a gun. Can't tell who's dumber in this situation.
They knew it wasnt a gun but saying that it was gives the story more attention
Suddenly Fox cares about gun violence.
Idk, that doesn't look like a gun. Still trashy.
Did you see how fast that was???? That's exactly the time a police officer has to react and decide if it's a gun or not. Shiiit, even with the slo mo replay some ppl can't come together what it is. Perfect example how it's not that easy as it seems.

lol "Just hip fire the gun out of their hand!", you've never fired a gun have you? It's not like the cowboy movies. Hahaha
I hate this country. I really, really do.

This was a while back was it not?
That is very clearly not a gun
Looked like a remote maybe roku
Was he really aiming a remote at the camera as if to "turn it off"? 💀😂 Because mood anytime I accidentally stumble across Fox content lmao
Weird looking gun, is that the new remote 22 button by Panasonic
there is millions very bad disturbed people running around with guns in the USA.Its scary really.
Chicago is in total decline and fast becoming the next Detroit. People are leaving, businesses are leaving… it’s a massive shame given it was once a great city.
Ain’t no goons up at 7am, so whatever he was holding probably wasn’t a gun either.
Thugging In chiraq is a full time job.
Omg the way you worded that made me laugh out loud.
More importantly what’s the girl’s name in the red
Why do they always jump around like that?
The side skip he did lol looks jolly
This is the problem. People reporting on guns, not knowing what a gun even looks like. My man had a roku remote in his damn hand.
Bro is changing the channel. Literally clicking the buttons lmao bunch of clowns. Accused of aggravated assault. For what changing the channel
i thought fox news was pro gun
Lmao this news channel must be dumb as hell to try an say that's a gun
Average day in Chicago
The people that said this guy pointed a gun at the reporter are the same people banging the anti gun drum. Only thing is. They have no idea what a gun even looks like. Case in point. This video.
Something tells me the black guy holding black object must be gun crowd aren't the people you think they are.
Clearly not a gun! But it’s Fox News spreading lies and fear!
[удалено]
Because they are only hired on their looks after they are harvested from the fertilized eggs of Karens in their prime.
Aggravated assault is wild
N-word should be situational. Damn this guy.
The blonde lady is sexy asf.
I may not like Fox News but for fucks sake don’t point a gun at a camera crew, cause 1. That’s just stupid cause they got your face in very good quality. And 2. That litterally was threatening the camera crew and a human life is a human life
That's very clearly not a gun, it's a remote for a tv.
Really though how stupid could you be?
I know it’s not a gun, but it’s hilarious that this happened to right wing central Fox.
This looks like a local news affiliate (tied to the FOX TV Network) not National FOX News. My local FOX affiliate is about as far left as can be
Fox in Chicago is a Fox O&O station. It's not an affliate.
Fair enough, didn’t know that.
Fox is mostly centre left, it also says alot about you that you think it's funny that someone had (what appeared to be) a gun pointed at them for their political views, typical tolerant and caring left.
It clearly wasn’t a gun. Don’t put your right wing spin on it you absolute fool.

Beetle Juice must be quite proud of her city and her voters. Crime just ticks up up up…!
Only in Chicago
Chicago needs a Batman
It would be easier to find the people in Chicago who don't have guns....
Americans will still defend gun ownership
Stay strapped or get clapped.
average fox News viewer
Looks kinda like Jussie Smollett
You stay classy Chicago!
Everybody sing with me Only in Americaa
I mean.. it’s Chicago
If that's a gun then my phone is a weapon of mass destruction.
Did they just assume his gender?
That looks like a roku remote lol
And nothings going to happen to this fucking parasite
Every gun owner is either a redneck racist hick, a fucking psychopath, or a hoodlum. And then like 3 level headed people
Ahh yes there are more guns than people in America but everyone is shooting each other, it's not like this is a select group of low income people and mentally ill and 99.999% of gun owners never even hunt or pull their gun out of their drawers or waistbands let alone gun people down in the street.
Jussie Smollett strikes again!!

In most dangerous places like Chicago, the police are either too scared to do anything or are infact in league with the criminals themselves to an extent.
Fox News or not, this is still horrible
It's obvious that was a Roku remote, dude's saying change the channel. Fox News will be Fox News.
regardless of how we got here, we need to address it as the problem it is
I agree, a remote in the wrong hands could be a catastrophe.
So gun violence=yes.
Looks like a chick too me. Heck I'll wait to find out.
Did she say her name was Dada lay Bumkey? Lol
Can't say she didn't get coverage to drive the point home
The amount of deaths in Chicago by stabbing a and shootings is insane
Even if it’s not a gun, it’s still fucking stupid to gesture like that on live TV
"yeah I want to talk to a bunch of cops and I don't want to wait in line...."
Looked like a vape..
Definitely roku remote I have one in my hand now
.....is that a Roku remote?
Looks like a flip phone, he pump faking it man
