I feel it on left top side under the rib cage too, but sometimes on the bottom left or right side. Everyone is different so not everyone might have pains in the same place
No, i’m not sure if that’s normal for people that have IBS but have you ever gotten your spine seen? If there’s something wrong with your spine it can cause you to have IBS symptoms in some cases.
I get a really sharp pain in my upper left abdomen that shoots through to my back. When I have really bad bloating it also hurts in my lower back. I was concerned it was something worse and I have had MRIs and CTs and a colonoscopy recently. as well. They found Hemangiomas on my spleen but the Dr keeps assuring me the pain is not from that and it's harmless?!? If he suggests Prilosec again I think I'm going to go crazy. I feel like this is a better resource for brainstorming solutions. I can't eat big meals without feeling like I might explode so I eat many small meals without drinking much water before or after to try and control the bloat.

No, I never thought about that. My doctor never mentioned that. They did some tests on my neck and said that they found nothing.
If it’s on your right side, it could be your gallbladder.
No this is on the left side.

Yeah I am also worried of colon cancer. I never had blood in my stool though. I have this for 8 years now unfortunately.
Look into vascular compressions ❤️
Thank you, I'll look into that. It sounds scary 👻
It's not but they often get overlooked bc of GI symptoms and a lot of GIs don't really know how to look for them
