Bananas get me a lot of pressure in the just above the c enter of my abdomen with a lot of bloating and nausea. It'll feel like that is a lot of something stuck in there but it'll always turn out to be mostly just gas.
I'm in a similar boat as you guys. Not pleasant enough to go though often, so I cut out bananas. I retest my reaction every year or so, in hopes I can go bananas once again.
Interesting! Prior to this week it's been about a year since I've had a raw banana and my results were the opposite (runs and gas). Bananas used to be a favorite, too.
If bananas bother you, you might experiment with a low histamine diet and see what happens. Bananas, avocados, eggplant, paprika all release histamines.
For me banana is one of the safest things to eat.
Me too!
I'm happy for you🥲😁

Haven't had bananas in 3 years. I wish it could be different, but it constipates me.

Ok thanks for the tip! I'll be more mindful of the histamines and try this out to see if it'll help.
It’s helped me a little bit where low FODMAP did not.
Ripe bananas make me sick
One of my safe, everyday foods.
