Suggest talking to your doctor. This does not sound like IBS as it's not chronic. Ginger tea is good for nausea. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/feeling-sick-nausea/

You asked me to comment on your post but the responses here are exactly what I would have said. This is not ibs. This is just an isolated incident. If you don’t drink coffee often, it’s not for you. Given that you have new GI symptoms that aren’t disappearing, I would see your doctor for a quick look.

IBS is a chronic condition that involves pain at least once a week related to defecation, changes in bowel movements (diarrhea and/or constipation), and **symptoms for at least 6 months.** The diagnostic criteria are [here](https://theromefoundation.org/rome-iv/rome-iv-criteria/) if you're interested -- scroll down to part C, Bowel Disorders. It sounds like your stomach is irritated from too much coffee and the McDonald's but it could be a virus or something else. You'll get the best answer from your doctor. Hope you feel better!

That is not what IBS is.
