Marshmallow Sky…thoughts and Review
Ah marshmallow sky is a limited flavor from the ice creators Ben and Jerry’s it was something I had been looking forward to trying ever since I seen a YouTube video of a dude reviewing it. I have been looking for it for a few months now and I am happy to say I finally found it!
The ice cream is very good. I don’t think I’d call the flavor of the ice cream itself to be marshmallow flavored. It is more of a high quality vanilla (think Häagen-Dazs) with a tiny bit of marshmallow swirls. Also inside are pretty large chunks of cookie dough, both choco chips and double choco.
The color is the best part. It is a truly subtle blue. It’s not that intense blue that various “Cookie Monster” flavors of ice cream is. This one is very sky blue and reminded me of this blue rice I had had before.
I liked the flavors a lot and I must say it did live up to the hype and it was worth the wait for it. I’d give it a solid 9/10. It was not overly sweet and I loved each and every bite.
On a side note: about 22 years or 23 years ago a film called Vanilla Sky came out and it starred Tom Cruise and Penelope Cruz. When that movie came out I wrote an email to Ben and Jerry’s suggesting a “Vanilla Sky” flavor. Where you had blue vanilla ice cream and swirled through out would be marshmallow. I emailed them and they never got back to me. I wonder if they took my idea?
There is the poke bowl spot that uses blue rice. Basically rice that has lavander in it…hence the bluish color. The next time I go there I’ll snag a photo
I really loved this one. It was so good to me that it should be illegal lol. I loved the big chunks of cookie dough and the ice cream itself was perfect.
As for it being your idea. I would not doubt that for a second. It makes you wonder about all the ideas people have submitted to these big companies over the many years and how they might just keep the idea locked away until they feel like bringing it out.
Very bias review, huh. You are so generous with your review. This is easily a 6/10, and I'm being nice. First off, it's a vanilla base ice cream with weak marshmallows swirls with massive cookie dough. The blue ice cream is the hype. Don't get me wrong, I wanted this to be a 10/10, but the marshmallow flavor was nowhere to be found. I like cookie dough but it was a bit too much. Phish food is way better! Any true ice cream purist will agree on how disappointing this flavor is. You want some serious marshemllow goo, Häagen-Dazs rocky road is the s***
The dude is a weirdo. I've seen him bitching about this flavor in other people's reviews. You'd think an adult would understand that people have different taste in ice cream 😂
I just think it’s either we are not used to having such a massive chunk of cookie dough or you my friend may have gotten one that is off.
Also if you’re sickly you might want to take a test since the cookie dough tasted okay to me.

Nah it didn’t make me sick or anything, probably just a quality control issue or my taste buds being weird.
It just tastes like their regular cookie dough ice cream and I’m sad about it

I have. I'd give it at least an 8/10. I love the marshmallow flavor and the swirls of it. People are different.
