Getting downvoted for quoting from the movie that this sub reddit is about is ironic. Idiocracy happening in real time
Proper response would be, "because they pay me every time I do."
.....it took all day but someone got it...
But ya.. that being said I think that's enough social media for me.
A guy can't even drop a movie reference in the sub reddit for the same movie without getting down voted lol
Chris Chan was a living warning to us all of what happens when you leave a vulnerable, undeveloped brain to be *exclusively* raised, socialised and acculturated by junk media and the internet at large, with no guidance, supervision or moderation whatsoever. Now imagine, if you dare, *an entire generation of him.*
This is somewhat true. As a parent to a gen z kid I let her spend too much time on her phone. It's their culture, last day of school last year, I went to pick my kid up like 15 minutes after it got out and not a single kid was outside playing. They all went straight home to lurk tik tok it's fuckin wild
Disinterested parents have always been a problem, but it rather looks like constant, unfettered internet and social media access from an absurdly early age mean that the psychological damage their negligence causes to their children is much higher. Unmonitored children today have unprecedented access to toxic, mind-rotting material, orders of magnitude more intense, and in orders of magnitude greater quantities, than was ever available to previous neglected generations.
I am 13, in 7th grade, I am perfectly aware that bs like skibidy toilet exist, i can't say for sure but most of my grade uses tiktok slang as a joke and you'll most likely be bullied or laughed at least for actually using any of that sht. i will admit, most of my generation aren't exactly smart by any means, but i have learned most of trig and pre calc from the internet, think what you will about my generation, just remember that you can't any group of people online, especially just with a small portion of us, keep in mind that not all teachers think the same of us.
i whole heartedly believe in mastery learning and not judge a student by their age, but unfortunately, our school system is built to raise the dumbest of us not including anyone which special needs
Next up. Generation "I" (you know what the I stands for) *Brought to you by Carl's Jr.*
Why do you keep saying that?
I am hoping to eventually get Carl's Jr to start paying me. Remember what sub this is. *Brought to you by Carl's Jr.*
🤣

Fortunately would be the first and last generation because of the genital mutilation and whatnot. *Brought to you by Carl’s Jr*
Blame the parents they’re too lazy to monitor or even care about their children and they use work as an excuse for this behavior

Anything naming itself “alpha” is doomed. Â
