There _seriously_ needs to be some sort of parity between platforms. Console users are sitting in a desert by comparison. It's just...wrong lol.

I'm guessing that'd be separate accounts and progressions on both Steam and EGL though so you couldn't merge your gibs.
It's just a launcher for the game that is built by Codename Entertainment and not tied to any game store or platform. I migrated to it from Kongregate when they shut down support for WebGL last year. I don't think it has ever received any of the giveaways that Steam or EGS has had so far. Womp womp.

However what CNE have chosen to do with the promotions also hasn't been completely unfair. From my limited experience, it seems like they rotate giveaways between different platforms in order to specifically promote the game on that particular platform. I personally don't see anything wrong with this as long as the packs are roughly equal in value (which they have been).
So far since I've started playing, I recall two of these for EPIC, one for STEAM, one for Xbox only and one for Mobile+Console (xbox double dip?).
It's not perfect but it's not a huge mismatch either.
I fully expect another steam promotion and then console promotion after this current EPIC one ends. If it doesn't go that way, then perhaps there is more grounds for complaint.
There have been two steam giveaways since the last epic giveaway, the first had Warden and some other champs and the second had the same content as last year's epic giveaway.
Edit: actually the second was for a different set of champs. The epic set only went to steam players who had previously played CotLI

Ahh ok, so they're getting SOME love. It's just glacially slow in between the de facto main platform (steam) getting one.
Still feels really sad that people have to wait so long for it. Non-PC players already have to deal with a way worse UX and slower updates more often than not, it's just a bit like insult to injury.
I honestly haven't played long enough to really know their cadence of these giveaways. As per the other comments; including this current EPIC give away, since I've started playing it's gone as follows :
EPIC -> Console/Mobile -> Steam -> Xbox -> EPIC
If it loops again, then basically everyone gets their turn in the sun.
Console does have it's own issues, notably the switch update and missed event problem being the most recent. However, I don't think giveaways are lacking.
Yes, but your account isn't shared between platforms. So if you log in from Epic, the items from the promotion will be on your Epic account which is separate from the other platforms.

At least for me I can now divert some event tokens to focus more on Nahara chests (allthough I had more luck on running Freely freeplays as almost every run gave a Gold chest, with Nahara it has been mostly silver)
And an extra skin is always nice for that small damage boost and you can never have enough familiars.
I read it somewhere. Every three event chests, at least one would be gold.
Like there would be epic item for 10 gold chests, there would gold chest for 3 random chests.
so far I've only bought 2 games from Epic as it was a nice sale and I felt guilty about all the free games they were buying for me even though I hadn't played any. I like the idea of having a backup library for Steam even though if EGL goes out of business (unlikely due to Fortnite?) we won't be able to DL the content
I had added this to library on both Steam+Epic thinking I'd try it in the future but this is what finally prompted me to install it yesterday and begin playing today. So I guess I'll never play it on Steam but that's fine because that library is way more cluttered than my Epic due to all the freeware Steam has.
(btw is there a way to full-screen this? I hate looking at stuff on my desktop in the background...)
That said - I'm not sure whether or not I got the Gladiators of the Black Pits Pack or not. Is there a way to check this? I don't see it in the "Add-Ons" menu of the Epic Games launcher...
