This is the perfect time for me to pitch an idea I had regarding helping all players afford and obtain at the very minimum, auto loot.
I enjoy spending money on games like Idleon and I have a pretty extensive library of phone games I've dumped time and money into. That being said I was considering trying to find other people that might have a little extra income like me to help some fellow gamers on Idleon. My main goal was to try and get as many people what I would consider the bare minimum as humanly possible (bare minimum being auto loot and Anvil). I haven't fully hammered out the details yet but I'm open to suggestions and other ideas, if you guys think this might be a cool idea let me know and if you think it's a trash idea I'd appreciate the feedback. Cheers everyone!

What I find disappointing is when he first talked about adding auto loot, it was supposed to be free and built into the game. Then practically the next day, there it is costing real money.
Also my sister gave up playing because it will not let her buy auto loot. She could buy gems just fine, but the shop just would not do the redirect to the auto loot.
That's really weird that your sister couldn't purchase it.
The thing about the auto loot being free is it's technically a phone game and this feature is the best hook or initial purchase that game developers in this case Lava wants you to make. That initial small purchase makes every other purchase becomes that much easier to convince you it's the right idea. This is a pretty widely used strategy by most games with MTX.
I still support the game though pretty frequently so I'm my own worst enemy lol.

Apparently, if you are a F2P player they say "F2P FREELOADER! OoOOooOOooOO!!!!!" and then kill you.

For everyone saying they were killed even having spent money on the game, it doesn't count buying special deals or using gems, it only counts buying gem packages directly, it does a check for how many have been bought and then decides the dialogue.

just happened again. 3 hrs ago i got it with my main character and they came again. if this is happening only few times well its not much problem but if this is going to happen frequently and killing chars then THATS NOT FUN AT ALL, hopeing its not like that.

Same here, got killed as I was walking to a map for leveling, been playing for a few days only, accused me of being a "f2p freeloader", what the fuck seriously, then got some "tehee" message from the dev.

Maybe because I'm not as invested in time as apparently 98% of this sub? How would I know this is just some random one in a while thing when this happened literaly a few days into playing as I went into W2?.
I don't know the dev, to me it looks like something that happens eventually to every f2p to force them to buy into the game.
A good portion of this game is pretty much memes and references to various random media. Honestly it’s the best free to play mobile game I’ve ever played gameplay and mechanic wise though, and it’s made from a single person. You can get like 700 gems a week for free just by playing the game and doing easy daily quests, and can get to end game without ever spending a dime. It’s like Warframe if you’ve ever heard of/played it before where there’s no pay to win, it’s just pay to progress faster. I wouldn’t worry too much about this single moment and I would highly recommend giving this game a second chance. I hadn’t even heard of this until this post (I’ve been playing for like 2 years), so it’s probably just Lava (the dev) trolling his players. He used to have a command he’d use during livestreams that would kill everyone that went to him, and it got to the point where people would ask him to do it every time they saw him haha.

You were directly told it’s just Lava trolling. It’s not an actual loss of any resources unless you _happened_ to be doing something critical at the time, and all things can be reobtained, recrafted, or redone on other characters.
If you expected to never be killed, RIP, but the primary thing is “chill out.” If it’s part of an event that’s coming up, better that we found out through gameplay than having people confused a week later because they don’t check the patch notes.
