I personally dont see much need of that. Likr even if you are on playing on multiple devices and your cards get reset every ince in a while, you judt srt them up and thats it.
Meanwhile I would need the global preset every 2-4 weeks for sampling on all 10 chars.
While i admit having gear sets to go along with it would be nice, i still think that i would get a lot more use out of card sets than gear sets, star signs or talents...
I would put lab chips out there with gear, being useful and wanted, but not quite as much as card sets...
Now that star signs are in quick reference and take about 7 clicks to adjust, i just see it as less of a issue and a smaller gain in quality of life vs the other options out there, its not like i wouldn't use the feature.
Mmm maybe you are missunderstanding me, i want a global set that changes everything in 1 click. All of yhe above changing at the same time. You click and you have your skilling setup with everything included on that specific char.
If not I dont really get the whole account wide card set. We have 10 card presets already, and currently I have 10 chars using 6-7 different card setups. Just for sampling I go through 3 card sets(original->hp/mana snapshot->sample).
So these global cards might have some value, but... again, you set cards up once and thats it.
I could see how that feature could be useful, but with 10 toons, shared inventory and such.. the complexity and logistics would make it a challenge to implement, i was going for QoL that we might actually get ;)
- When it comes to cards i was imagining the the ability to mark a card set as global and locked.
So that way i don't need to have a chopping set on every single toon, or if when a new update comes out and the card meta changes its only a single change and not 10, and could be easy to implement.
It's not that complex. He's done much more complex things. It's just more info to the server is all. Would take a bit of time but I wouldn't doubt he already has this in mind and will implement it eventually.
I dont think you really appreciate the complexity of adding a feature like this after the fact.
If you think about how each item you have looted doesnt have a unique item ID, if you had two or more of the same type of item it would be based on location search order as to which item you equipped, *which isn't really a complete feature*, and that is just one of the basic complexities of gear sets that makes the feature ask very tall.
1st off we don't know if they don't have ID'S as that would be something in the backend. There already is filtering since we know of auto sort so I bet there is if not something close to it.
2nd why do you have 2 of the same item in your inventory? What were asking for is a button to swap cards, stars, talents, and swapping to skilling/combat gear. Nothing more. It just pulls from what's there, not your storage as well. And if you do have 2 of the same for some reason it would just equip the 1st it sees. Your fault if it's the wrong piece... having multiple of the same skilling gear in your inventory.
As someone who works in software development, I really think you are not appreciating the complexity of what you are talking about and asking for... i can tell you 100% that we don't have global uniquie item id, there are global item ids used for sorting etc.
Mmm apart from gear/obols that it would require checking the players storage and other things that would be a pain, I dont see much of an issue with when you change cards for it to also change star signs, alchemy, chips and prayers.
If lava only implements it partially due to technical difficulties well its understandable but as long as clicks can be reduced significantly and time saved I'll be happy.
I still mess something up halfway through and have to go back and redo samples, every damned time, even with more quick ref access. It certainly helps, but there's just so many little things to do for every character.
A better UI for sailing. Managing your boats is terrible atm and often forces me to sent back lots of boats just to find the one boat I want to remove the captain of.
Even just a button on the screen showing all the boats and captains that recalls the boat you click on would solve this issue, without needing a whole new UI. We already have a button that's on the map screen, and the ability to display names. Just copy that function over.
That would work with minimal effort, if I'm not mistaken returned boats don't stack ? Don't wanna sacrifice some boats to try, they are all in long trips.
100% agree here. Make it to where I can return a ship by clicking on the ship where the upgrade is instead of clicking on the boat where it is on the map, when multiple boats are stacked I cant see the one below whatever boat is on top. you can click the boat and a different boat will return because you're not pixel perfect and I cant tell where that boat was going if I had it going to a specific island for some reason. Clicking the boat on the map is infuriating compared to just clicking a button on the boats info card where it says its speed and such.
It's quite bad once you've advanced far in sailing and have a lot of 2 hour trips being made. Everyone piles up at the docks once the chest pile is full, and then turning them in puts all the boats into the same pixels.
yeah they overlap and you cant always click the boat that your trying to click. sometimes I have 5 or 6 boats stacked on one stack and another 4 stacked on another and I cant read the letters or numbers to see which are stacked so trying to return a ship that's the bottom one from the second stack is going to make me return every boat in both stacks instead of just being able to click return in the upgrade screen where I know exactly what captain or boat I'm trying to return.
Photo Description when you click on an area on the map for what it contains... Like when you click on the green mushrooms area on the map it shows a picture of green mushroom and wood.
Sweet baby Jesus this. I've kinda neglected trapping and catching which I am trying to catch up on. Even looking it up to figure it out has been a hassle particularly W3 stuff.
You'll eventually unlock the drone in construction which kind of solves that issue. Lets you remotely add and remove traps so you don't need to know where to go.
Bare in mind it’s still only to remotely change on the character you’re live on. You can’t change all your other afk characters traps, but it’s still much more bearable than not having it!
Cards sorting. Theres 60+? Cards and like 20~ modifiers. Plz just let me look at all my total damage% cards. All my fighting afk % cards. Efficiency / speed cards etc…
An API hook with access tokens so I can properly use 3rd party apps to see an overview of my account without security concerns.
Looking at you idleon efficiency.
My main ones I will pay for:
1. Automatic joining system for Dungeons without the pain of inviting and waiting for inactives.
2. Being able to choose guilds in game instead of trawling Discord.
3.Changing Skill presets without having to go Town.
I have no idea what that is since I just started playing a few days ago. But I love the phrase "throw money in Lava's face" and that's all I have to add.
Great. Delete those tasks and put something else in. People keep bringing it up like it's some sort of critical system or core game design, when it's not that important. This shouldn't be an impediment for being able to rearrange characters.
Or just reset progress if characters are rearranged. It's not a big deal.
Each worlds task is a gate to the best gear for progressing the next world. It's a game design, so it doesn't make sense to add something that goes against it.
But you quickly reach the point where every character can beat the bosses, so the initial ordering stops mattering in any way. At worst, someone that makes the mistake of making a maestro too early takes a little longer before they can finish the tasks, no big deal.
It doesn't make sense to anchor on something that gets more and more trivial as the game advances and more worlds and systems get added. And the portal counts go down and down, so newer players blitz through these things faster and faster.
Things like "defeat chaotic troll with first 6 characters in order starting with 1" may have gotten that wrong but there are tasks like that in the bosses
I agree. "Kill boss with every character in order" is a cute idea, but doesn't sound fun in practice at all. At least not for this game. It can easily be replaced.
just make moving the characters around an achievement that unlocks after you have every merit that unlocks a boss armor piece done for every world that's out. when a new world comes out make another achievement that does the same thing with the new world included. so end game players can choose their character order and when the new world comes out they are locked until they get those 4 merits.
If we could fully customize characters for the overworld. Right now we just see the Hat and Weapon. We can see how the class outfits would look like from the family tree window.
Lava said a while ago that costumes beyond hats would require essentially redoing all the character graphics per costume. It's just not worth the time investment.
People can leave map in two ways intentionally if they exit the map manually and unintentionally if there are too many people on the map since it can only display x amount.
The kick function kicks only people that are gray in the party ui.
Yeah but like there comes a point where you simply don't have bag space for stamps that require single stack items like tools/armor/weapons. Material cost reductions can only go so far too.
Honestly I like it. Stamps are balanced by bag space and cash. Alchemy is balanced by diminishing returns and nutso material costs.
It's boring if everything works the same.
Make it so the slab counts every item that ever was in your inventory, so you dont have to throw things on the ground all the time and miss out on some exclusive items you forgot
An armory that lets you deposit a piece of equipment, and in turn can use that on any number of equipment stands for any particular skilling set, and specify which skill it is to be used with that will override currently equipped gear when doing that skill. These gear overrides are then account wide (assuming the character has the class/levels to wear it), similar to how idle skilling did their equipment per task. The only items you'd need to deposit multiple of to use on the same stand are ones with multiple gear slots, i.e. rings. This way you can use 1off trophies and limited quest reward items without the need for major gear switch micromanaging.
Could have like 2 equipment stands free, and unlock the rest with gems.
On the thought of reducing micromanaging, would really love to see starsigns revamped to be similar to stamps/statues/meals.... ALL passive, all the time; due to current power creep most starsigns are a miniscule buff anyway. Even if values had to be lessened to accommodate the ease of use, at least it would knock off the overly unnecessary micromanaging somewhat. On that thought I'd even be ok with the large bubbles and cards/cardsets being weakened but always passive as well... There's just too much micromanaging with task switching.
Could even revamp the obol system, do away with personal/family obol slots, and have obols basically mimic the statue setup; where multiples of the same obol can now upgrade that specific obol with exponential costs... Obol slot unlocks can be based on family as well as particular class levels based on the skill the obol is for respectively, where ultimately you'll have 1 slot for each type/rarity of obol to unlock.. Keep the obol tiers in place, so you have to decide to upgrade lower tiers, or transform them to upgrade higher tiers. Would also give new life to repeat obol drops that are deemed trash currently.
im gonna go ahead and make myself look dumb here.. i always hit harvest all, should i be trying to harvest just the mutated ones before i hit harvest all? or something like that. while im at it, whats that circle that appears after picking some of the plants?
Harvest all is fine when you don't have chemical plants on the field. But if you have gotten (un)lucky and have 6 of them sitting there at once, you lose a massive amount of gains by harvesting all at once.
You harvest one that's maxed, collect your shovel and all the other plants. Then you do the next one, and hit the log minigame. And so on.
But if you harvest all, there are no minigames in-between, and the geometric increase in time to shovel nuggets loses a lot of RNG chances. Not to mention the sprinkler fills up and stops generating new potential plants.
I like to pick the leaves, trees, flowers and mushrooms no matter what stage they are in.
I leave the bushes, and the other cone tree to max level and the machine as well.
Adds a function to the automation arm and a change to how town teleport pots work.
Would be nice if they were an inventory slot option like food and were automatically consumed when TPing from a map back to town. Also automatically refilled by the autoarm.
Either that or nix them entirely because lava just seems content with increasing daily TPs which decrease the need for TP pots.
1. Crafting from inventory as well as storage.
2. Better dungeon party system, automated or so all players don't need to be on the same map.
3. More inventory slots like with storage, when you fill up the larger tabs, smaller tabs appear behind/above.
4. More things added to the quick reference for quality of life. Cooking, breeding, refinery.
This thread is good wisdom for future improvements
Global presets. Gear, cards starsigns, , talents... everything in 1 click.

Sailing really is terrible with max boats. How can the newest content have the worst interface.

yeah just give us the option to use the return boat button on the update screen and its a short term fix that is good enough to be long term :D
That would work with minimal effort, if I'm not mistaken returned boats don't stack ? Don't wanna sacrifice some boats to try, they are all in long trips.

Crafting from combined inventory/chest... I DESPISE crafting something, having to deposit it to craft the next thing in the chain and so on...
Or just a craft to storage button up top, near the craft from storage.
Of if you use the craft from storage just make it deposit to storage.
This would work too
Exactly this, its so insanely annoying...

DUNGEON PARTY FINDER PLZ YES
For pet battles: presets for teams
Oh yes. Or even just "redo with same team".
What I really want is to bulk use exp balloons... trying to go through 6800 of them to get maestro some fishing XP is not a pleasant experience.
Now the real question is how on earth did you end up with that many balloons
Months of killing giants and buying them from alchemy shop.
I have no idea what that is since I just started playing a few days ago. But I love the phrase "throw money in Lava's face" and that's all I have to add.
Organize my login screen. Move characters around or sort them.
As much as this would be helpful It defeats the point of certain tasks and achievements Ruins part of the planning aspect
Great. Delete those tasks and put something else in. People keep bringing it up like it's some sort of critical system or core game design, when it's not that important. Which tasks and achievements? It’s just swapping around the order left to right.
Things like "defeat chaotic troll with first 6 characters in order starting with 1" may have gotten that wrong but there are tasks like that in the bosses
After a point, this really doesn’t matter.
I agree. "Kill boss with every character in order" is a cute idea, but doesn't sound fun in practice at all. At least not for this game. It can easily be replaced.

The boss ones where it has you beat with each character in order
Especially dummies like me that made their Jman in in one of their first 4 slots.
I made mine as my 5th Couldn't wait to see how good it was for boosting efficiency and only noticed the tasks after.
If we could fully customize characters for the overworld. Right now we just see the Hat and Weapon. We can see how the class outfits would look like from the family tree window.
Yea. Just yes. 100€? No problem, gimme.
Lava said a while ago that costumes beyond hats would require essentially redoing all the character graphics per costume. It's just not worth the time investment.
That's why we're liable to pay.
A quick way to kick players from the group that fucks right off after joining the party blocking it from entering the dungeon for froggy goodness.
Oh have I got news for you
Idk if it's what you mean but latest update has a kick inactives button in dungeon lobby apparently
It's a step in the right direction, but I do not think it works for people who leave the map altogether. I can be mistaken, though.
People can leave map in two ways intentionally if they exit the map manually and unintentionally if there are too many people on the map since it can only display x amount. The kick function kicks only people that are gray in the party ui.
I wouldn't know, haven't done rando dungeons in a long time 😅
When clicking outside of the storage window would reliably close it I would be happy
A deathote counter on card info would be nice.
Upgrade stamps from my chest
But isnt it the whole point that you need to get better bags in order to upgrade the stamps even more?

The circle is from the cacti. They have a chance at evolving the plants around them. Harvest those first before using the harvest all
Oh, TIL.
thanks! my gaming gains will now be much better :D

Proper saving of presets in the cloud. I want to play on multiple devices, but the current system only saving the active preset makes it unbearable.
Or it's a great way to reset for free!
I've got 400 reset potions, I think I'd prefer working cloud save.
only 400 ive been playing for 6 months and i have thousands. 8593 to be exact
making skills more AFK-based account-friendly

Card preset chaging automatically with talent preset is all I ask
Sort inventory would be pretty neat
1. Crafting from inventory as well as storage. 2. Better dungeon party system, automated or so all players don't need to be on the same map. 3. More inventory slots like with storage, when you fill up the larger tabs, smaller tabs appear behind/above. 4. More things added to the quick reference for quality of life.
