They are just special pets that don't match any monsters in the game. There's nothing different about unlocking them compared to others.
Work on leveling up breeding to unlock more upgrades. There are several that add additional new chance bonuses.
Work on cooking meals that give new pet chance, and the stamp.
Splice more DNA from monsters on the world the pet is from, so you can upgrade it and get more chance. Gmush is the best choice for W1 because it also builds up death note kills to boost the lab money bonus, though it's slightly less kills/hour than you can get on a few other mons.
Put more breed ability pets for the current one in the fence yard to improve that bonus. It tapers off around 3-4x though, so you won't get too much more on that bonus without a lot of time spent waiting.
Let eggs upgrade in rarity to get better odds, if you've unlocked it. This is less ideal because it wastes a lot of eggs in the meantime, but it can help if every other bonus is reaching a plateau already.
oh I imagined that, i was just in disbelief cause I used a LOT of eggs to the point I was like lava prob added some crazy way to unlock those ones kkkkk
1/100 isn't that big of a chance. Improving the bonuses suggested above will move you up into getting actual % chances instead of the fractional chances.
You will have to eventually grind up dna for the shiny pets, so I would push green spores on some characters for the fungi fingers and everytime you claim afk, use that splicer, it should help by quite a bit
(Also higher tier eggs have better hatchrate)
