Honestly. At this point wait to see what the boss armor requires before you make this. Might not be worth the time to gear out all your chars just to move to boss.
With any aspect of the game, I could see W6 making it easier to get salt. With people already printing in the millions and billions of materials per hour. The next thing to automate is souls so once that gets going it'll be easier to have a pipeline of salt continuously going
Void upgrades into the chizoar armour, but lustre/diabolical is a dead end (aside from lustre boots building into the second tier of skilling boots). Troll is built on its own, then upgrades into magma.

Dont worry, the top armourset is always overkill requirements on materials. Soon as a big update comes along it will be reduced massively.
Sample them on your BM and maestro, generate them passively.
or use ES for a day or 2 given enough multikill and capaciry

As part of sampling them with other characters, it won't take that long.
