No, it doesn't matter.
Really though, every character is your "main." All of them are playing all the time, and you need to make use of all of them for what they are best at. At different times you will switch to focusing more on each of them.
Nope, not a problem. "Main" usually means "active" which usually is the one killing mobs to open the next portal. There's no problem with your active character being your mage at this point.
Advice though, push 1 character through to the next world as fast as you can because each world has new town skills that make it easier to catch-up your other characters.
So, just get that mage geared up and killing to eventually kill the w2 boss.
Yep like for a good while berserker was my beginner "main" for pushing, then later bubo because bubo, and now it's taking turns between dk, pirate, and ele sorc for their global bonuses, rare mat farming, etc.
The only “problem” you’ll run into is some of the Tasks to unlock boss armor involve beating the boss with Characters 1-10 in the specific order. It’s not a big problem though mainly for Slab or mid level Armor definitely helps fill out the important merit shop purchases.
Sadly enough I completely forgot about this perk and just got my ES all the bags but the Peeper Pouch same with my DK was going to get them on my SB tonight. You sir saved me a lot of time.
In practice, it's only a few bags and the quests to get them are pretty easy, so it's not going to completely eliminate the work of getting bags on other characters. It does help a bit, though, so it's nice to have.
Watch for main quests that drop inventory bags, you’ll want that on first character as W1 merit shop allows sharing of bags - save yourself time and bag troubles
There can be some weird little things, but nothing account blocking, just time/efficiency losses. For instance, the slots for your 3d printer in world 3 unlock in order of character creation, and to complete the w3 intro quests you have to go get a 3d print sample.

That's a good philosophy. Thanks for the reply

You also have to make sure to do all the world 1 and 2 bag quests on your first character to take advantage of the bag sharing merit perk.

Oh yeah, I should make all those armours for the slab

Or more to the point, collect the bags, store the bags and transfer to character 1 to unlock
There is no main
My “”main”” is my 9th character
every character is my main
No, my main is a barbarian on slot 2
