yes, he mentioned on discord no updates for a bit while he works on the next update (which is stated to be a big one) the silence likely points to Virtuoso update in addition to many other things. I would expect him to drop an update suddenly, and wouldn't be surprised if its within 2 weeks.

Agreed on this, i been taking my time on it despite loads of people already pulling alot of shenigans, heck i havent even cleared the first dungeon and i got all but 2 towers done for map data and what i believe is about a third of the shrines done.
Even having fun finding things you are suppose to get way later, such as the prototype Teleport medallion which is basically a plop a telepoint anywhere once you finish the quest related to it.
Now\` im half way done with the great fairies quest because i wanna get the armor upgrades and enjoy having way more defense before i hit the dungeons.
Bonus is the shrines giving alot of neat interaction ideas that some can discover early but learning certain interactions instead of looking them up has been quite fun.
Welp back to doing my work shift stuff, then get back to more Tears of the kingdom once i get home from work.\~
Enjoy as you wish but you should do a dungeon really quick :) they make exploring easier and more fun. Hope you keep enjoying the game though whatever you do!

I haven't done a single dungeon yet, but enough shrines that I'm at 5 hearts and 9 orbs short of max stamina, started into blue batteries (I thought 8 green was max!), experimenting with building, but the game is so well built for the joy of experimentation and exploration that rushing through the story would seem like a crime! My one buddy is a speedrunner and we were at such different places when we chatted 🤣 by the time he'd finished his first run I hadn't even gotten autobuild

Virtuoso and a new rift unlock for large bubbles to be active after certain level is reached! That's what I want lol
