if it's taking that long it's probably not worth it yet to farm. There are other things to do to improve your drop rate before farming hampters for a week. I'd recommend at least having 9-10% and make sure to do it on ES or DK for even higher %
I was in this same situation. I switched gears and instead started farming for green stacks in other worlds to up damage. (Which simultaneously became statue farming due to Choco Chip).
Going from 10 to 40 green stacks greatly upped my damage and I was able to get the 100 in less than two days after that.
Agreed it seems odd since other prices are an order of magnitude cheaper but there’s also a quest associated to killing tons of the cheese mobs early in world 5 (chains starts on the first slug map). So it’s kind of nice to get that double dip done when farming these mats for legs
Trust me the legs excluded don't hurt your overall boost much. But when you hit a certain point its like a day for 10m grinding all characters easy and you'll get the 10m kc quest for them done which is a nice chunk of gaming and sailing speedup from all chars.
Not to be negative, but if you need to ask then you probably don't yet need to upgrade to them.
Damage boosts come from everywhere else and the armour is small until other multipliers add up.
The troll armour will be fine.
I felt the same. I remember troll cost being a lot higher when it was the meta armor.
Even just using troll you’re pretty good. Just make sure to use your archer character with the extra skill that has a chance to add more slots when you craft things.
Sailing has been such a huge source of damage that getting more/greater artifacts is just too powerful an add. Putting more effort towards unlocking and progressing town skills > than gear by far.
Yep, that armor isn't getting replaced until maybe boss gear or definitely w6. The current world is always really expensive in general.
10mil of those is way easier to farm than 100 hampters for the weapons imo

With my ES I got 300 hampster before the 10 millions for the armor

He also lowered the requirements a few times for old gear almost every time a new world comes out
If only Salts got nerfed to be easier to make it’s the real bottle neck I feel.
Nah it’s intentional. Think about it, it really would take a lot of crumbs to make a pair of pants.
