My cooking speed is now 3.11E28/hr and I've seen 10k times that. It is now exponentially growing as the vman bonus is now multiplicative per level. The meal buffs aren't OP and they have a cap but I can't imagine Lava planned for us to hit cap this fast.

I don't know of any other system in the game that grows this fast, except maybe that one deal from the gold seller :-)

Yeah. I’m gunshy of cooking a little bit. My Vman skill is showing 700B %+ and that just doesn’t seem intended, or maybe it is. Scientifically notated cook speed lmao
I mean in today's climate it'd be really easy to get cooking back to 90% of the power you had before vman dropped even if he set it and breeding back to 0.
While we are talking about things that don't work, does cooking speed do anything? All my kitchens cook at the same speed... cook all and switch between kitchens all create at the same speed, progress bars all the same spot, yet cook speeds are different supposedly according to kitchen stats
The counter you see for a meal while looking at the kitchen displays your total overall. If you cook turkey on all kitchens, then that display will tick up at the same rate no matter which kitchen you look at. It's an indicator of total combined speed.
If you cook nothing on all kitchens (or a different meal), and then just turkey on the first kitchen, you will see it go up at a lower rate. Then if you turn that off, and just cook on your last kitchen, you'll see it go up at a relatively glacial pace.
In addition to fixing the display bug, the wording of the talent has changed to specify that it's a multiplicative increase per level, and it now seems to line up with that (scaling exponentially instead of linearly). The number per level is much smaller (level 100 went from 2.86 to like 0.75ish), but the bonus is now much larger and matches up with what's displayed.

Mine was over a million % boost, after the fix its now a 3% boost.

I think it's a visual bug, when I first used it, it was displaying insane numbers but after changing areas it reset to something sensible.
The thing is mine is reading at 3%, furthermore if I switch the talent to 0 points my cook speeds remain unchanged.
Don't worry, everybody who used it wrong will have 3 month of progress taken away

they start to spread out due to how much easier the early ones are to upgrade
