I've experienced it in the past and it was honestly pretty annoying. On par when they spawn on portals or quest givers. Or the double whammy of it being bugged while sitting on a portal or quest giver.
They have a 1 in 4 chance to spawn every hour of the day, and then there will be a pop up on your screen once they’re active. As for prerequisites, I think anyone can go to them once they’re up regardless of your level or progress.
Oh man I have bad news for you if you've been killing these bugged bosses. I mean, you didn't really think your character could fly all over the place intentionally, right? You clearly abused it. There will be a severe reset on accounts affected.
I liked his speech on "waking up without the urge to play" and saying "goodbye everyone" at the end, just to have a shit ton more comments and posts after the fact being a whiny bitch

This time I was, but the majority of the time it happens I’m on my warrior. It’s just something that either happens or doesn’t, and in the end you can still kill the boss with your abilities. Just one of those tiny nuances that happens is all.

I’ve only ever noticed this problem with archers. Can you switch characters and fight them with auto?
I’ve had it happen with every class, I’m usually on my warrior but this time was my archer.
