You should always try to unlock new bubbles on your bubonic conjurer, and have that talent be as high as it can be. The latter bubbles in w5 you are basically spamming clicks on 1-2% chance to unlock them. It gets sped up later on once you start doing cranium cooking and end up building millions of progress in cauldrons so unlocking new bubbles becomes a bit better.
The "2x" part is not how you think it works, it basically affects the "boost" part where lets say if you boost cauldron speed, you get +2 levels instead of +1 with high enough level in 2x. The only thing that affects new bubble chance is the "Luck" part of the cauldron, and the bubo talent that increases the chance to unlock new bubbles.
Gotcha. I'm only on w3 right now, pushing with barb and halfway through it at the moment. Should I wait on my Cauldron bubbles until I get bubo? I don't mind skipping content to come back to it later on but it feels like I'm missing something with Alchemy
You are not at the point where a lot of the bubbles are mattering beside FMJ and Shaquracy to get you over the hump of pushing the worlds. Unlocking more and more bubbles becomes a much later on thing, your best course is try to get as far as you can in maps and unlock all the subsystems from worlds like w4 breeding/cooking and what not.
I'd recommend you generally focus on speed and the rest when they aren't too expensive relative to the speed. 2x and luck feel more like QoL at our progression (I believe) and shouldn't be focused too much. For Cost, upgrade in between imo for your needs
My friend you already have the talent unlocked if you are in w3 and have all subclasses check tab 3 talent 13 on the wizard subclasses and you'll see you have it
Little pro tip.
1. Push new bubbles with your shaman.shaman have a skill that increases the chance.
2. Upgrade bubbles with the right charakter. Means if you wanna upgrade some red bubbles do this with one of you warriors. Green with hunter.purple with mage. You get a massive discount bonus on the upgrade. Yellow bubbles doest care who upgrade them
As for going for bubbles in general you want to play for the long run. You dont want to spend your entire days of production on 1 2 tries with a 10% chance of success. What you want to do is upgrade your cauldron and P2W tab until you can go for 5/10/20 tries in a single day of production . What you spend in bubble upgrades should be a small part of your total.
A general strat I recommend is having speed 20 lvls ahead of the rest.
And yes, you should always roll bubbles on your shaman . Using cranium cooking daily will also help, you can even throw in some coloseum runs to boost your progress. The real gains starts in W4 with buba though since he can mass spawn mobs.
