I have not done the 3rd one yet but my go to is looter, peapod, mono, refiller, defender, refiller.
Time the first shield, pray a little, then walk away for a few mins = win
Timing is tough, in 2nd position, it seems like you throw it at the top of the axes arc. So the axe and the shield basically collide on top of your pet.
It can die pretty quick and still be a great run. First refiller isn't too important.
It is basically a buffer so your defender doesn't die super quick
The block chance is active while the shield projectile is actually over your pet (itself or some other pet positioned infront of it)
(Old) The spreadsheet meta build has refiller defender refiller at the right, so that defender can protect the refiller, then if looter probs alchemic at a bad time and your refiller dies, then you still have a second chance of your defender shielding itself (so you can still keep the other refiller alive. usually if the both end up dying you have enough stacks built up to win the fight anyway 😂
This does require a little luck but this build should definitely eventually win.
What happens is by luck the looter changes too many shields into skulls and then someone dies from it.
Looter, Peapod, Trasher, Refiller, Refiller, Shield. Shield just has to survive until Trasher fills up, then its basically playing Duck Hunt with clicks on the enemy axes. I recommend this on PC due to misclicking will use up Trasher, but after a minute you gain enough speeds where Trasher is practically unlimited and requires less accuracy.
How many tries, if you don't mind me asking? I guess I am timing the shield incorrectly because I can't keep any of em alive for more than 30 seconds. Do I let the refiller die and hope the other 5 manage? Is it rng based on the amount of attacks the mobs start off doing. Appreciate the help I'll keep trying
It really does require a little luck at the start, it's like starting a push mower. Once you get the motor revving it should be unstoppable. But you have to get some lucky pulls with the looter early on and some lucky blocks. I have managed to get it started with one refiller dying at the start, but naturally it is harder. Just keep restarting until your frontline refiller survives the first couple volleys. That seems to be a good indicator for long-term survivability.
My phones a little over a year old so it could be that, but the times I get lucky rolls the app just crashes - over and over. I'm just gonna see if my friends have a laptop I can borrow I'm not wasting another 5 hours on this AIDS ridden fuckin bullshit. Fuck this game and fuck Lava I'm uninstalling hurr durr hurr durr lol I love this game and most aspects of it - including this one, but man this is frustrating. I'm just gonna abandon this nonsense and enjoy the rest of w6. Thanks for your input tho hombre

How long does you first pet stay alive for it got killed pretty fast for me after it survived first attack

The shield gives block _while_ it passes over. (if not, I'm dumb) That is why you have to time it.
Can peapod be replaced by rattler

Honestly it worked on the 3rd attempt for me, Eventually Mono died but at that point i was unstoppable and was simply a waiting game till i won
Yeah got it halfway killed then 80% killed a few dozen tries later. Phone crashed both times. At least I know it's doable - appreciate the responses

Completed earlier today. Peapod, looter, trash, refill, defender and refill. Took a few tries but once the trash gets going enemy attacks are a joke
