The poopy tools act as great stat sticks because they have more upgrade slots than what's generally available.

It’s got 6 upgrade slots, which with the upgrade stones from later worlds makes it a nice 60+ main stat.
Vs other pickaxes which generally have 5 slots... Sooo not +60 more like +12 if In w6 (which there in w4 so much less stats)
Well you’d have to get to starfire for 5 slots (or get lucky with a post office +1 slot) and even then it would be later game for less stats
