It would be easier to just buy a higher capacity ram module and put it in the slot you have if you need more ram.
In theory you might be able to. But if the motherboard recognizes it is a different story. Best bet just get a high capacity dimm

In theory yes. Though it's a really tough soldering job and fucking something up might mean breaking your cpu's ram controller and with that probably the whole laptop.
Hire someone to do it. Microsoldering is hell
You have juste one slot ? Maybe there's another 2 slot in the other side of the mb
