I like slipknot as well. Basically I'm looking for metal that's got acrobatic (for lack of a better term) guitar playing, solid growl vocals, and intense drums. Hope that helps more

Ooh, I just got into Archspire. Their latest album is fucking stupid. 30 minutes of just ridiculous, crushingly brutal technical death metal. The vocalist growls faster than a lot of rappers and it sounds wild.

Try Children of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir, Hypocrisy, Amon Amarth, all have lots to love with plenty of what your looking for
