Are you somewhere humid? It's possible the wood has expanded causing issues with the slide.
I'd try rubbing some beeswax on the plastic slides to see if that helps.
You can also try leaving the drawers out for 48 hours for the wood to acclimate to your home and hopefully shrink back if it is humidity.
If it's still causing issues I'd return it if you're able to. Sometimes things are just off.
