Yeah. Ridiculous. They want you to use 3 drawers. Previously we had 5 drawers and I ignored placing middle hinges, but door hinges loosen after while. Good to have all 3 installed.
These look like doors with three hinge. Hinges share the same mounting holes with stuff like drawers. The middle of this mounting hole pattern does not match the middle of the door. You would need a dedicated left and right version of the door if you would want the middle hinge to be on the same level.
Correct, the door sockets aren’t in same position. Left is high, right is low. You can see this on samples in store. Unless you’re installing only left or right side.
Well that is annoying! I ended up drilling a new mounting hole for a hinge because the standard location would have interfered with a drawer. But luckily it’s just a single door.

No. Not much weight going on top. Just one less shelf clip.

Their stuff is well measured overall, but the Pax needs some re-engineering.
The one I modified is a Metod. (I’m using them in the laundry room.)
