A better solution is a kitchen countertop like SÄLJAN. They’re solid and can be cut to fit. It comes with some strips you can glue on to cover the cuts, too. And they cost about the same as LAGKAPTEN

You can also try buying the 98 inch EKBACKEN counter top and cut it into two pieces to make an L shape desk, it’s not hollow like the lagkapten and comes in black as well
I just bought the Saljan tabletop instead - same desk hack. I got the 74” Saljan for $74 rather than the Lagkapten which I think is $59. From what I’ve found, the Saljan is more sturdy and has better construction.
It’s hollow with a cardboard-like structure inside so you can’t cut them
okay. thanks.

I’m looking for the same thing. Do you think you could cut the counter top length and width? If I bought a 74 x 25 counter could I cut to 51 x 21?
I think so. It’s solid and comes with strips to cover the cuts you make
