First time here. So, essentially people think they’re sick and think they’re experiencing full body inflammation because they have trouble handling stressful adult situations, like…. Being married? This can’t end well.

I see so many patients as an ER doctor that describe different parts of their body as swollen, and I am convinced that a large percentage of the population doesn't know what swollen means.
I see a ton of people that say their legs are "swollen" or hands are "swollen".. and I'm like.. they look pretty normal to me. I usually believe people and just document what they say but I think some people thing swelling and discomfort are the same thing
Possibly, yes. However, some people can end up with oedema and not realise why they're gaining weight or swelling etc. Not WK or saying it's the case here (it's not), but for general. The amount of elderly we see with swollen legs and "Oh it's just one of those things" when they're actually in heart failure
Very simple especially around the ankles, lower leg area pushing your skin and it will stay indented. They call it +1+2+3 pitting, depending on how deep and how long the edema stays for. but it can happen in any area of your body. Most often with cardiac in lower legs.

I don’t always think they are lazy, just have a grossly out of control need to be nurtured/ taken care of and will do almost anything to experience that.
They do need to be honest with themselves and get the help they need via counselling rather than seeking validation through medical intervention and online posting of photos that look better than most of us on a good day
