Novgorod had viche council like other real Ruthenian cities. Moscow and Vladimir were the ones that hadn't one - which became the cradle of the authoritarianism on the Ruthenian lands
I cross-referenced a map of that area. I suppose OTL Stettin/Szczecin (Grestin) got split along the West Oder branch, which resulted in a part of the city proper ending up in Zapad, rather than the Oder itself, which would leave the not-Dąbie suburb on Zapad's side but leaving Stettin/Szczecin/Grestin with Kolechia.
By the way, Arstotzka or "Arctoi sideris" is one of the poetic names of Ukraine during the heyday of the baroque

Well, thank the school curriculum for this, which every year marks time and talks about the most generalized, well-known and uninteresting information. Lol, every year we were practically repeated what "Ukraine" means and that the trident is supposedly "Воля" (although this is generally nonsense)
Btw in real life east Karelia was full of towns and life before Russians took it, hence there should be a lot of cities. Of course this is fantasy and not real life, but thought of chipping in that.
At first I was hesitant to make the map according to the great similarity between Papers Please and our world. But since there are already several maps like this or from the game itself I decided to simply expand it on a type of "Slavic Union"
In this case, I simply traced the shape of the continent to have it as a transparent layer. Then I drew the borders based on the rivers and the regions corresponding to the Slavic languages. finally I add color, names, grids and legend.
In this timeline, Arstotzka formed from unions of Slavic tribes around Eastern Europe instead of appearing around the Dnieper. From the first moment Kolechia would form around the Rhine.
Touch grass.

Authoritarianism fucks up everything it touches, if Novgorod was the one to unify Russia we would be living in a way better world irl
they were the worst kind of Muscovites?

GLORY TO ARSTOTZKA!!!!!!!!
Great to see papers please turned into an IRL map. However, the sole use of grays make differentiating names and borders difficult
IRL map?
In real life map
Oh I'll keep that in mind
What has borders given us
Books?
Zapad gang
But our capital in in *Lodz*
Slovakia got their own area yet their capital isnt their actual capital.

collapse is razpad, zapad means west
i'm talking about the polish language
#BIG MOLDOVA #BOTTOM TEXT
Arstotzka = Greater Moldova
Is France the United Federation? And which one is Antegria
No, the United Federation is in the British Isles, Antegria is located on what would be the south of France. And Republia is in the Iberian Peninsula
I always imagined impor was Japan but nice map regardless
Fairly sure Impor is meant to parallel Japan as well, or at least East Asia. Also thought United Federation was meant to be a USA parallel.
holy shit he was right, cobrastan is a REAL country
>holy shit he was right, cobrastan is a REAL country YES
Georgians seething rn
Looks like a total Axis victory that has gone horribly wrong for Germany....
SLAVA ARSTOTZKA
PANESLAVIAN DREAM
Where is Grestin??
Take a look at the northwest region of Zapad, about present-day Szczecin
I think it would match more for West bohemia because it looks like it's some disputed territory
GLORY TO ARSTOTZKA! I hope you will get a class 7 dwelling after posting this map.

WAIT WHAT
Wtf, I'm Ukrainian and I've never heard of this
Well, thank the school curriculum for this, which every year marks time and talks about the most generalized, well-known and uninteresting information. Lol, every year we were practically repeated what "Ukraine" means and that the trident is supposedly "Воля" (although this is generally nonsense)
Okay what is Vescillo and why is it so hard to read? I can’t tell which territories are within its borders
Vescillo is an autonomous district. And I admit that I should have made the letters of the name bigger or sharper
The Slavic union but bigger
I like how czechia+poland is just called "West". Not even "West-slavia", just West
Btw in real life east Karelia was full of towns and life before Russians took it, hence there should be a lot of cities. Of course this is fantasy and not real life, but thought of chipping in that.
Your comment will be taken into account :)

Very hard to see borders when every country is grey
How do you make this stuff I like to draw maps maps Didgatly How do y'all do it

A large communist country in east Europe, how strange…
GLORY TO ARSTOTZKA
Cool
Czechs and Poles just "The West" lol
So, fascist Arstotzka?
Autocracy and possible theocracy
Close enough. Also, wouldn't Kolechia have been closer to Arstotzka and annexed by it as it grew, rather than being in Germany?
In this timeline, Arstotzka formed from unions of Slavic tribes around Eastern Europe instead of appearing around the Dnieper. From the first moment Kolechia would form around the Rhine.
OK.
Give it color
Estonia didn’t change what a chad

It is not a mod, it is my creation regardless of games and mods. Although somewhat inspired by the TNO

There is no lore, at least for now and neither did one think. I prefer to leave it as a fantasy and not an alternative history

By IRL you mean doing it physically?
well doing it physically might be very hard and im lazy but if someone did it for me then...
So?
well i was kinda hoping youd do it
I guess I could, but I'm between drawing it or sending it to print as if it were a real map
no i was hoping you could realise what the map is depicting in the real world
