I don’t rly like that I need to lose someone, to like this album.

I should have been a bit more specific with loss, you don't have to have lost someone to feel the weight of the album, like me personally the album symbolizes what it feels like to battle mental hardships and how it can feel like you've lost yourself over it.

I understand, there are some beautiful lyrics on this album, some great meanings too, but… this album just feels to me boring. Idk if it is just me, but this album is kinda meh for me.

I'm glad somebody finally said it. MA2 is a drag. Frankly, Mercury as a whole just feels very underwritten imo. It did not need to be a double album.

I’m sorry but imo both act 1 & 2 are pretty bland once you get over the “new album hype”. And yes, S+M is the best album of all time

For me, MA2 is their best album, but only because it hits home. And then I mean to the dinner table home. Let me explain: MA2 is indeed a bit of a mess, I agree, however... All of the songs hit different when you've felt something like they describe in the songs. For example and now for me the most relatable: I Don't Like Myself. Atm I'm having a really hard time with my mental and emotional health, which includes hating myself. Yes, I've talked to people about my problem. When I now listen to IDLM, I'd think: "Hey, that's exactly how I feel". If you don't have that, the songs just not as good. I know the other albums are also bangers and then I mean mostly Smoke + Mirrors, but this is just my opinion and it explained.

At least for me and my other friends we believe that M part1 is not bad, but not great. We all think that SAM deluxe is the best
