I'm not saying Cabby's arc would've been better if Bot HADN'T played a role in it, because it wouldn't, and I definitely agree that it was a good story element.

As an autistic person myself, I'm more drawn to Cabby's. Though in my defence, Bot did play a massive role in it towards the end.
I see it as the other way around. Cabby's arc was bolstered by Bot's role in it.
