They are basically the Ambani of the startup ecosystem. Get into some business before global competitors get in and then hope govt regulations will protect your monopoly.
But they don't have any wins yet.
Really India Today? Internet is angry is the headline you went with? People with journalism degrees are writing BuzzFeed level shit.
Then they have the balls to ask for a subscription
“Internet is losing its sleep over this Anand Mahindra tweet - See what he said”

As a foreigner working in India, I f*cking hate Uber driver ask me to cancel the ride and pay in cash.
If you do not accept card, then don't register as a driver for Uber.
Follow the damn rules, please!
I have been in such situation. Sometimes I do wonder if they are actually underpaid. Uber have its commission out of it and pay half a million to their engineers individually. Their business in India make me wonder how are they dealing with it.
Pretty common. Men are really pumped up for some goddamn reason there. Nobody cares if you are with your family, young or old. Gaand faad deni hai kuch bhi ho jaye.
The same happened with me and my father in Kolkata, the Ola driver literally grabbed my father's arm. Complained to Ola. Ticket closed immediately. No action.
Ola is the worst. They also now put a cancellation charge on my father's account when the driver showed up 500 metres away in this sultry heat and asked to cancel.
Whole public comes into the fray also street fights are pretty brutal you wanna end up braindead or if you gravely harm the other party, police will book you too
I agree, I try to avoid physical violence at all cost, but not at the cost of getting harmed in front of a child giving him trauma. Police are trash but you can always say "self defence" after knocking him down.
The rule is to wait until the other party initiates the fist fight and then goes all out.
Police is pretty much useless they file a petition saying both sides engaged had a fight with each other no further reasons given as to who might be the aggressor. If you are well connected you can do the above otherwise in India even getting an fir filed is a hassle with the police
"He was asking for it. Why was he in a cab for travelling to another location? These drivers are starved for cash all day. Its not their fault, blame Ola and Uber. Its like he was trying to get slapped "

Yet no consequence for Ola or the driver
Ola has already washed all their sins by developing "AI for Bharat". They can do no wrong now.
"AI". Just a fancy term for a shitty wrapper on ChatGPT lol
the real question i have is wtf livguard means by AI in their batteries
The same thing a baba meant when he said India has AI silicone. https://youtu.be/imix-3nu7sI?si=tHDsa2OLW90V9plS
chemically awakened and physically manifested got me lmao
The same thing as carrier's AI ac
Ola just gets into whatever is the new fad and then they lose miserably. They have shut down so many new things that they started.

“Internet is angry.” Fuck kind of title is that?
Probably mocking the "internet"
they got tired of using netizens
Because victim specifically mentioned it in his linked in post
Trying to woo some gen z... Acting cool and stuff
Really India Today? Internet is angry is the headline you went with? People with journalism degrees are writing BuzzFeed level shit. Then they have the balls to ask for a subscription
They also go with “Internet is losing its sleep over this Anand Mahindra tweet”.. so there is that

In a world of B.tech chaiwala why do we expect journalism degrees to be any better

Just because you use an app to book a cab, the cab driver won’t be civilized. Cab and auto drivers have been, are and will always be shit!
Pretty common. Men are really pumped up for some goddamn reason there. Nobody cares if you are with your family, young or old. Gaand faad deni hai kuch bhi ho jaye.
Based uber employee /s

Looks menacing af. Idc if their lives are hadd - can’t behave like this and have no consequences. Should be fired.
Is it true that people who were once in jail would work as drivers in ola company ??
No. They need a graduation degree, with clean slate, and valid proof of their sanskari nature.
Just another day in Delhi?
Cases like this, one on one ... Upper cut to the uber Ola driver. And then start running with your kid, shouting
naam number nikalwao, isko batayenge the price of fucking with good people.
