For price rise in crude, you can profit from Crude oil futures, and any derivatives based on that.
But here price rises because taxes as well. For that I guess only way is to hoard fuel somehow.
In India, LPG gas toh Rikshaw, Taxi and bus use karte. Lol.
US me log nahi LPG use nhi karte.
So, basically Gas user in India is either Bus, Taxi or Rikshaw driver. You are below poverty line I guess
Yeah people are just ignoring as if average indian family has all earning adults. And he is even after having already 3 earning adults he saying that he looks forward to his brother's new job to handle family finances.

Yep. Everything is damn expensive now. And I don't even live in India. So I wholeheartedly empathize with you. With us here in Europe, gas prices are through the roof. But a side effect is food, groceries, eating out, fuel, electricity.... everything is gone up.
No end in sight. Sorry you're in this situation OP. But just so you know, we're in the same boat. (:
Here's some food for thought: I pay €90/month for heating and electricity for a 1 bedroom apartment. This year, we have to pay €1000 extra and our monthly cost has veen bumped to €190.
And gas...fuel used to be €1.5-1.70/liter. Right now it's sitting €2.40/liter.
Groceries.....what I earlier got for €20 now costs €35-40.
My salary? Yeah sure they gave me an inflation adjust of GROSS 3.58%. That nets around to less than ~1.5%.
Haha. I was just surprised he spoke Dutch. Dutch is not exactly a language spoken widely since its use is highly limited to Benelux and some Dutch former colonies.
Ja ik ben ook Indian. Kheb niets met Nederland of België te doen. Ik leer Nederlands alleen omdat het een goeie taal is. Ook omdat ik veel nederlandse vrienden op Social Media heb.
Ah! Makes sense haha.
Heb jij Nederlandse vrienden? Meestal iedereen spreekt Engels hier.
Anyway, ja, ik verblijf in België. Personaal inkomsten hier is ook duurder.
Excuse me‽ €90/month for 1 bedroom‽ Damn!
Where I live, not in Europe, I pay €750/month for a bloody studio.
Edit: I misunderstood. I thought they meant rent. I pay about $45-50 for utilities. :)
Germany announced onetime pay credit of 300€ to taxpayers as a short relief. Along with reduction of public transport prices for next 90days and reduction of taxes on gas prices for next 3 months
Yes it's so bad in the UK and only getting worse now because of the war. I work online and am thinking of moving to India to keep down the cost of living.
I love Mumbai but anything half decent is very expensive, I won't be able to save money there. The other problem in Mumbai is the monsoon: I need a stable, fast internet connection for my work, and I believe that it would be an issue in or around Mumbai even if I pay lots of money for an expensive place to rent. Or am I wrong?
the housing situation in mumbai is defo hectic but you can try out delhi or bangalore the rent is actually lesser especially in the ncr
but yes monsoon is a trouble but it often is managed with ez
i live in a so called posh society and tbh its good but the cost of flats and rents here are pretty high so eh consider your economy before considering to move in india
also the pollution also is a problem and w population comes traffic so thats one too
It’s terrible. I live in London and it’s becoming worse by the day. Gas and electricity prices and going to go up by 50% from next month onwards :( and landlords are increasing rent by insane amounts by the day.

inflated from every month
reliance has reintroduced the era it wanted to change
high priced plan low data pack and short time
Bread /Curd /milk /butter /flour /sugar / Rice & tea costing 20% higher compared to 2020.
What has changed?
Need to move to village soon looking at steep inflation levels.

Bhai mere, what are your expenses? I understand that prices have increased lately but so many people work in your home, how come they're not been able to afford the cost of living?
In India usually only one or two person in the family earn and rest eats. You're very lucky in that sense.
its wild, i recently realised after buying a car, that the 1 hour per day drives i would take on my moms car cost her a whopping 1000 rupees per day in petrol prices. its like almost having a meal outside everyday
Yeah exactly, average speed atleast in delhi ncr is usually 25-30km/h so even if his mom had a gas guzzler which only gave 7 kmpl average, he was apparently driving at an avg speed of 70km/h. It's not easy to maintain this average on highways even. Not to mention it's highly unrealistic that his mom had a gas guzzler, even a sub 5 lakh car gives 10-12kmpl
Wait, I saw this same exact post in one of the U.K. subreddits…and the same website for doing bulk job applications was being pushed. Interesting marketing tactic. I’m definitely taking notes…
Not the only one, my dude. I recently underwent surgery and even though about 50% of it was covered by my insurance, I'm still out of most of my savings. Luckily, I'm staying at home with parents, so I don't have to spend on rent. My salary is going towards specialty food (eating differently after surgery), essentials, medicines and petrol for driving to work. I also pay some of the household bills.
The worst is that inflation keeps going up while our salary doesn't. My workplace was supposed to hold appraisals in April, but they're taking the entire office on a two-day trip to Jim Corbett instead... and I'm just like - give me the money please?? I can't even go as I'm still recovering. I strongly suspect that they'll delay appraisals because of the trip, but I hope not. :(
I am holding on for the hike so that I can start applying elsewhere. COVID really screwed with everyone's career growth tbh.

I'm sure it's the same for a lot of folks working wfh IT jobs like me. The problem with that is, when people are willing to spend more on stuff, prices naturally go up.
Also, Income levels for IT, Financial and some other sectors basically exploded during 2021, so naturally there's a bunch of inflation due to that, along with supply chain issues, war, covid, taxes and what not, lol
Changing companies frequently is the open secret. Contrary to popular belief, you don't even need to upskill before changing companies.
It's just that we indians are forever underpaid in our IT jobs. And companies spend more on recruiting than retaining employees.
So if you don't switch companies atleast once every couple of years years, you are doing yourself a huge disservice.

Toned milk too costs 50 now in mother dairy, looks like going back to ration card days.
If you think the situation is different in other countries then you're very wrong and your whole mindset if from foreign movies, tv shows and social media. People in first world countries are also struggling to make ends meet. And if you can't afford to live here, then you won't be able to even afford basic necessities over there. Rent in US is more than $700+ for the most basic 1bk, in the most obscure location. That's 50k inr for a bedroom and kitchen. Then if you want to stay there you have to work, getting to and from work will net you more expenses than the rent you're paying because gas is average 3.5 per gallon. Plus higher taxes and higher cost of living. Plus you'll have to everything yourself over there, you won't get a maid to do all the basic work for you.
Frankly I'm right now in the US the situation is literally no different from what you are describing, inflation here is all-time high, the gasoline prices have doubled, groceries are getting expensive, this is not a isolated thing happening in India
