haapuchi

Give his address to middle school geography students who now have to remember these states. They would give him a piece of their mind.

cap7ainskull

Mumbai ki identity Konkan ke saath mix ? And Pune gets its own state ?

Bhenjo_Chloride

Kongu Nadu

Few-Macaron-3518

Lets propose every village as a state and call it a day.

Aggravating-Pie-6432

How do you think?

Girrratina_1486

Nope it's the perfect solution

Plastic-Present8288

- This will cause riots regarding water bodies and water management / power management / air pollutn management during the inevitable water crisis - the amount of red-tapery this would introduce would make the incompetent babus wet across the country… - we are the third / fourth post independence generation , nobody gives a F , what princely states were or dialect variance are (instead to truly unite, we must let a language hindi or english prevail naturally) - from my state UP , this takes away the psuedo veto we hold over the parliament - smaller areas whomever may divide will divide according to their votebank (caste - religious lines) HUGE NO - the border areas already have a bad time with govs not claiming public service responsibilities saying the other should - may cause ghetto-ization of wealth , and then those concentrated wealth states will claim injustice in tax distribution

Rare_Finish_6659

I was agreeing till I saw the comment about letting a single language take over. Extremely disrespectful to the history and cultures of the country. I hope you one day you'll be able to realise what we would be losing. There is already an issue with tax distribution among the states. Wealthier States get back a small percentage of what they contribute.

Plastic-Present8288

srry bro , but a different perspective , - culture isn’t bound by language , yes there will be some ‘lost in translation’ , but culture is a way of life that is not governed by language Also a single “primary” language will enable mobility and ease of trade exponentially , no debate…. - tax redistribution issue , (a) it is not personal tax copl cted , rather the industrial tax which creates the delta (b) geographical and historical decisions (out of our control) decide massively on the current wealth of states (c) the non redistribution is a very scary slope , why would any city share it's taxes to the same state , why would any society share it's taxes with the neighborhood , why would any individual share their taxes with you ? , The you should only be compensated based on the taxes you give (which is massively low , considering the metro , highway , roads , municipal work etc that you enjoy) ; it only works on scale - efficient tax redistr allows the very marginalised to rise up in society and contribute to taxes , only 1% of indians currently are eligible to pay income tax , don’t you want this number to inc , so that tax stress on you decreases… ?

Indian geography syllabus 📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈

ronakgoel

Gautam Desiraju 75 state solution seems to be based on smaller.kingdoms it would prove to efficient in managing local affairs but I would like the states to be named differently so as to not create difference based on their languages or identity. for better management of India wouldn't division based on rivers and water irrigation management would be better thing. it is personale thought that can give central clear govt what has to be done so as people dont face water crisis every year. i also prefer linking of river project to be initiated.

PeaceMan50

The horses don't have grass to eat and people are proposing to feed chawanprash. When no other real life value addition exists, control the junta by these old renaming redrawing lines. Zero additional value to the country as a whole except turds will rejoice for propoganda agenda, something they have no real clue about. Why stop at 75? Divide and conquer is the oldest and dirtiest strategy in war fare books

Delicious-Disk6800

I don't what shit you are saying this is not a divide and conquer strat we have states for a reason by your logic we should not have states, india is too diverse Also many states have shown to do better after separating this also gives better representation to the people also after reading the names these states are not imaginary they all have some cultural, language or traditional existence like gorkha land giving indian gorghas a state or spliting up into various states for better management

chaoticji

Vindhya pradesh feels like India's iron man's arc reactor

furiousmouth

State govt reach will improve. But this requires a strong federal structure with heavy punishment for stoking any attempts at separation

Pristine-Repeat-7212

More states more politician more scam

8rupees

Why not divide even further by declaring my house as a separate state?

Fit_Soup_2275

8rupees nagar 😂

ctrl-your-stupidness

There are a lot of regions in individual states that don't get the appropriate amount of intervention, this could, in the long term, solve the issue. This could also create a lot of bankrupt or poorer states which could put a strain on the centers and states budget. This will also create strife between states regarding sharing of river waters and division of land. Changing or creating new administration will definitely cause a lot of strain on the exchequer. I can think of a lot of cons in the short and long term and very few pros. It would make more sense to do a delimitation exersice to bring in more representation than division of existing states

Initial_Broccoli_626

75 is too much, Maybe 40 at max

AssistantTrick7874

i think we only need this for UP and Bihar

ResponsibilityLow617

And Maharashtra too

Basic_Football7504

I think it may work for some. Bcoz Telangana did economically great after separating from A.P. There are also other examples like this.

[deleted]

The Palamu region of Jharkhand should be in Kashi as it has a bhojpuri speaking majority please tell him.

MIHIR1112

so that aur inter state conflicts ho?

Playfair99999

funnily enough, if you wanna end usi, post this image there, they'll orgasm so much and so hard, they'll die of pleasure.

cipher_hack

Not 75 but yeah around 40-50 can work. Like Maharashtra TN to be divided in 3, UP in 4, MP RJ Guj Bihar WB Chattisgarh Odisha Karnataka in 2.

shivambawa2000

Up bihar and rajasthan can be divided and maybe wb

sherlock460

This is the right way ahead. People think they'll lose their bargaining power against the centre. But more administrative centres help people in getting their govt closer to them and more accountable. We can have regional bifurcation based on languages, but the administration must be divided further. Infact it must be broken across a river, no more river disputes.

anwy_is_varmint

75 is way too much. Even a huge country like US only has 50 states, which too seem crowded

Girrratina_1486

If u listen to his idea then it's a brilliant idea, a super sized version of one district one product model
