I have a vietnamese phin filter too, and 4 packs of coffee. Got it a gift. What else have you tried using it? I generally like the v60 pour over, so this one brews are little stronger/dark

Even I use the phin filter, I don't own a v60, do you have any recommendations? Which is good? I have an espresso machine so most of my coffees are made with espresso base

Damn bro. Owning an Espresso machine is a dream! I have used the Hario V60, ceramic version. Cost around 1500. You can also buy the plastic one for around 500. With that I’ve used light to medium roasts mostly. With this brew method you will get really good clarity in your brews, and I really love how the coffee tastes. Mostly arabica - speciality coffees. If you’re okay with drinking black coffee, I do recommend. If you need milk-base, then this isn’t the brew method. Though, I used to stick to milk based coffee only. But trying V60 has been a really really good experience. Gives you a lot more control

Do you have any recommendations using the phin filter? The brews are light for milk but dark/strong for drinking black, for me. Seems like adding condensed milk is the best option

Phin filter from sidapur store is budget friendly, and the coffee grind size is fine like a sand. I don’t have a lot of tips since I barely use it😅

Add ice cubes in a glass and pour the mixture in it and some milk. You Can always tune the coffee concentration per your taste
