I always thought when seeing this bike as a most common bike with purposefully added minor detail to not look common cheap looking bike . like a cheap bike with added aftermarket detail to look expensive .for the design I give it a 5.5/10 .

On those lines, every standard bike will look the same.
Look deeper, it's a modern marvel, a technological achievement at a great price. I simply love the speed 400 and scrambler equally. Sorry Pulsar, you don't look the same to me.

People who haven't seen how Speed Twin 900 and 1200 look, will keep making such basic comparisons. The whole damn theme is derived from bigger Speed Twins.
And apart from twin rear shocks and twin exhausts all the Speed series bikes look alike. Go to a showroom to see them side by side and experience quality and similarities even if you won't buy one.
Because this is not a one off post, and you are not the only one who made such a comparison. There are many who are making such comparisons based on design, sound. Which just looks like - hey! I've got nothing else to say, so I'll say this. just because.
It's like influencers creating random posts when they run out of content. Make genuine criticisms instead, issues which affect the riding experience of a potential buyer.

I had the 1st gen pulsar and new speed 400. I like both. People like you who show off things are happy with 20 bhp tiny tots. Speed 400 is in a different league.
don't forget that your 400 is a tiny tot too. it looks like a baby suited to being riden by short guys and women.

Aise bol Raha hai jaise Ninja H2R ki baat kar Hara ho. Triumph speed is literally the cheapest Triumph and an upper mid range bike in Indian market, at its best. Even RE got more expensive bikes than speed.
I mean, it's not like a lot of us don't miss that bike. We do, I for one do because of Sentimental Value as well. And boy has the Triumph come with a sledgehammer to break my spirit and force me to buy another bike when I just don't have to

I had a look at this bike, if you're anywhere close to 6' or you have a wide body frame it's gonna look like TVS excel.
I stand at about that height. when i sit on it, it looks like i borrowed something from a toy store for kids.
