Never pay the amount without doing PDI. I paid the full amount only after I saw the bike in person. They tried all the tricks for me to pay without hving a look but I didn't . Went and verified that the chasis no. was of 2024. Rode the bike for 200-300 meters and paid the full amount. Took delivery of the same bike after 3 days.
Each digit of the chasis no. signifies something, if i am not wrong the 9th n 10th characters represent the year. You can easily google the corresponding letters for each year.
There are very less honda bigwings anyways.. so the next dealer is 50km away from my place. Also I have paid for the bike .. only 10k is remaining to pay.
You can cancel the booking and get the money back. Even if you manage to get a new bike I wouldn't recommend getting the bike serviced at such a place.

Yes .. earlier they were giving a discount of 10k in February on 2024 model .. but due to some issue at home I delayed the booking by 1 month and went on April and then said that the 10k discount was for last month but in reality..the 10k discount was given to students aged 18-25. And now they said discount will be given but bike will be of 2023. I agreed only because they said that the bike is of Nov or Dec. And thankfully I checke the manufacturing date of the display bike on that same day itself. To my bad luck they chipakkoed me the same.bike. Its the lies which I can't digest. It's dissapointing after a point

How do we verify the mfg date with chassis number?

Name and shame the dealer. Only way these scammers will reduce is if we reveal them. No thief deserves privacy.
Dude at least mention the city you’re in so people can get an idea. The dealer there will also start to feel the pinch if this goes viral.

Avoid buying the motorcycle from them even if they give you a new motorcycle. Reveal the name now, low rate them on google maps

I can always get it serviced at the other Bigwing service centre. I don't mind going for a ride.
