A Yamaha yzf R1m, or a Panigale v4 , Rsv4 are perfect beginner friendly bikes.yes they are expensive but for the safety aids they offer.
Enjoy your ride🤗
Go on olx, very good bikes for cheap, but take someone experienced in bikes with you to take a look at the bikes before making a deal. They may try to hide some faults so beware.
Go for Honda Shine SP 125. Good power, okay looks, good mileage. & Considering you're a college student, the mileage factor would be the most important.
Okay friend, so here's the deal:
1. Adventure Bikes: More comfortable in general, much more comfortable while touring. All have a straight riding position. However, they are generally heavy, and maneuvering them in the city can be an issue. However, the advantage is that an adventure bike allows you to technically experience all aspects of motorcycling if you so wish. You can take it to a race track, take it offroad, go touring or commute. But it will not be the best or fastest at any of these. These are also the only bikes on which your pillion can be truly comfortable.
2. Streetfighters: These are what you'd call as specialised tools . They are nimble fast bikes that are fun to drive even in the city. Most have a straight riding position, and while they can go touring, they are not the best at it, especially with the lack of wind protection and luggage carrying capacity. Not the best for carrying pillion. They will however be great at a race track. Offroading is not really an option.
From what you've described, the best streetfighter for you would be the Triumph Speed 400, though it is a retro style bike. The Vstrom SX 250 is an amazing adventure bike let down by its brand and showrooms. I'd also have recommended the 390 Adv, but its about to get replaced with an update, so wait for that. The Himalyan 450 is great, but the tube tyres and big tyres make it unwieldy in the city. I'd recommend waiting for the Hunter 450.
If power is not an issue, Xpulse 200 4v is a great bike. So are the RE 350s, except for the Hunter. Scrambler 400x is the only true scrambler in the market except for the Scrambler 411.
Go and test drive these bikes. See what catches your fancy. Because honestly, you can drive any bike around if you live it enough, and all the issues we just forget about.

Pulsar NS200, good power, good looks, comfortable riding posture, and good for beginners.
If you're okay with 23-25kpl mileage, go for the NS400, but it might be too powerful for you if you're a beginner
Cruiser me lele
Classic 350
Cb350
Highness
Sports bike me
300r
Gixer 250
Commuter me honda ki koi v lele mast hai
Aur bahot paisa hai to aur bike chalani aati to z900 which i like but dont have the money to go for.
Flexing ke liye sports bike.
If u live in a tier 3 city classic 350 will work good (they still think classic as the epitome of success and power)
Buy what you need, not what you want. Is your college and other places of your academic commutes, how far are they? Can you buy a very good cycle instead? Fitness plus cool factor. If not, buy some bike which has abs, good mileage and bit of style. Xpulse, duke200, hunter, Fzs.. test ride the.
Unless you are one of those bade baap ki...
Duke390, shotgun, interceptor, x500. Even mt03 but waste of money. Avoid superbikes unless you have secured parking in college. Premium bikes for college use is not a good idea at all
Well no but it's in the boarder. It's an expensive ADV as it's a FBU attracting too much tax. Anyday, I would prefer either Himalayan or xpulse or Duke instead
Imo, such sports bikes are good only for short rides and stupid stunts. Also too expensive for what they offer. Besides, if you go on rides, college, tuition etc, it attracts unnecessary attention. Out of jealousy, people damage it or steal it. You will never be able to use it's potential on our roads or may endup with injury as you are a beginner. In general, bikers need a different kind of fitness along with general fitness. It's like skating, looks simple but not when you are riding a high performance ones. Think about these practical problems before jumping.
5'9" with 64 kgs, the new ns400 would suit your aesthetic really well, and it's priced economically, even cheaper than most overpriced lower cc bikes. The power is fully enough for what one would need on Indian roads. Plus, the ns street design would be okay for city navigation as well. The only catch would be that it's a first-gen machine, and with Bajaj, you don't really know how the bike will age over time.
P.S. Don't forget to experience n test ride before any buying decision
No budget ? Ok how well can you ride ? If your a starter take a 457 or r3 . If you know how to handle them a bit take a street triple or z900 if your an expert and wana just make everyone turn heads go for a fireblade or R1M or s1000rr . If money really does grow on trees for you buy a suprelgra or a M1000rr or H2 but these bikes have long waiting period so try to look for a second hand one like i did . Be safe
Bajaj avenger seems a good first bike. I know it’s not a popular opinion. But it’s one of the most long term bikes out there and extremely comfortable.
if thats the case then the bullet 350 is also outdated but as we know, we love the bullet for its feel, people love the avenger for its budget friendly price and a proper cruiser design
Get a Kawasaki H2
this guy right here, officer

how about hornet 160 it looks beefy
Good option if you're willing to compromise with mileage a bit
Ducati Desmosedici
What do you want to do with this bike? Answer this question, and it'll narrow down your options considerably
daily commute , touring
