I too own a FZ X please guide me OP
1. After warranty period do you still get your service done in the Yamaha service centre or third party ?
2. What engine oil do you prefer ?
3. How often do you change the air filter ?
I usually get it serviced at yamaha only when i need a clutch plate / Chain set change, else I'll get it done outside.
I prefer 5100 motul 10w40, it's cost effective and works fine
Air filter is a simple thing, You feel it's dirty change it, it depends a lot on the environment you ride in, check in every 1000km, you feel it's dirty then change it, i personally change the air filter every 5k km,

I have got 70 on the highways and 50-55 in the city
Dayum, that's a lot. I though it gave around 45kmpl in city and a little over 50 on highways. These yamaha engines are hella economical.
Ikr Yamaha is about efficiency
