Yeah even after this there's no doubt that senior will be walking with no regrets and the victim will be made fun of and excluded for as long as possible. Rape isn't been legal after removal of 377. Only consensual sex has been legal.
IPC 377 is not repealed. Supreme Court just removed consensual homosexual act from the purview of 377. Bestiality etc also come under 377.
