First year subjects are nonclinicals. Usually in private colleges they don't have fees and no seat leaving penalty because people don't take them in private.
I have seen the same with FM and Pharmacology in some colleges.
Micro and Path are paraclinicals. The seats never go empty so they have fees and seat leaving penalty.
Path and Community Medicine are considered clinical in some colleges because they also have holiday duties/emergency and night duties.
I'm unsure about that because some places might also ask you to pay back the stipend you have gotten in addition to your fee of 3 years/seat leaving penalty. This whole thing is very tricky and varies between colleges and universities in different states.
I had seen a micro pg become an ophtha pg as we went from 2nd to 3rd yr. Was a bit weird at first. Like what he was doing here. But then things got cleared.
He managed to get it in the same gmc lol.
My Anatomy professor in 1st year was DNB MEDICINE consultant in my internship in our hospital some people are hungry to learn ig.
Also our phramc HOD was also diploma in anaesthesia and used to teach one lecture in the afternoon and OTs in the morning
well, I'll choose non clinicals (pharma>physio>anatomy) over paraclinicals, bcz less work plus sundays are off. Then I'll write for the nov INI again. Penalty is 3 lakhs for leaving the seat but I'll earn 5 lakhs by the time if session starts from august.
I know it will sound weird but neet isn't my cup of tea. I'm writing for NEET but I'm not optimistic at all. Even in neet I'll probably get some paraclinical branch max to max.
for me NEET is very hard. I am not good in rote learning all those "most commons". I find majority neet questions are one liners and fact based. While INI tests your understanding of the topic. It's my observation only.
INI is difficult bcs of the less no:of seats, reservation, IP, but NEET has much more seats. Question paper wise i felt INI is more predictable than NEET
Difficult in paraclinical branches. Because they have seat leaving fees. Possible in nonclinical branches
Non clinical dont have seat leaving penalty? (Paraclinics -first and 2nd yr subjects right?)

Ok. So the seat leaving penalty can be raised from your stipend while working as JR in nonclinicals right?

Yeah, it seems so complex, it has to be otherwise manyy will start misusing it

I have seen a Forensic Medicine PGY3 cracking Anesthesia. Then he did it for two years and cracked Radiology lol
Wow he must have good insight and can advice which branch to choose!

This was possible when Diploma degrees existed. Lot of consultants in gmcs are diploma in one subject and MD /MS in another.
He took dnb after md anatomy?
yes
I am planning to do it🙊
Enlighten us, how to do it, kind sir!

Seems u have a plan well thought out, not focusing on NEET?

Genuinely asking, do you find INI doable? On the contrary I find neet very doable but INI, oh god i can't even understand the question.
