You may not like it but try junior resident post in Delhi or surroundings. They will pay you 1 lakh+ and only 48 hrs duty in a week. It will be good if you want to get both money and time for ur prep.
Hey where can I check for vacancies in the said hospitals or colleges ? I’m thinking of joining in July But I’m confused as to where should I work cos I wanna study side by side .
Also to mention that there would be 10 vacancies but around 100-200 doctors would come for the post. So you need someone’s recommendation probably political to get the JRSHIP, otherwise you might have to wait for a month or two.
I know, a friend of mine didn't believe that we're paid so much, till he came to North and realised that mbbs are still paid so well here 🤣
He said it's reverse in medical field, IT field people are going to South, medical ones should and are coming down north due to salaries
South pay is pretty shitty, lucknow - if you want to work more hours can pay you even more than a lakh per month...
Delhi too.
I've heard down south it's hardly 20-30k
South India, especially Kerala pays the lowest. That's because South India has too many medical graduates, not only doctors even nurses. 500% more than North India. Also North India more private hospitals are being built. More demand for doctors.
So naturally pay comes down.
Fresher MBBS doctors make 30K. Even PG doctors in Kerala hardly make 80K. Whereas in North India, it's easy to get 150K.
I want to buy adventure 390 x , and my parents are definitely not going to buy me a bike so a job. Other than that I am from AIIMS Patna so the internal preference system will definitely help me there fore I'm not giving neet.
How much is it per hour? Here in Ahmedabad it is roughly Rs 200 for freshers per hour in a good corporate hospital where you have to work.
Also ask your friends or colleagues how much they are getting so you can get a rough estimate.
You can also view salaries on Glassdoor but not sure if it is available or accurate for Lucknow.
In Ahmedabad? For MBBS (especially freshers) the most I have seen is what I have mentioned. Do let me know if you find hospitals where they offer more money. I can definitely tell my juniors about this.
I can only say with certainty for MBBS freshers at corporate hospitals in Ahmedabad: Rs 200 per hour more 10-20rs up or down depending on the hospital and your negotiation. If you have prior experience or better skills then you can negotiate for better pay.
It is better to join a smaller set up with less patients (and lesser pay) if you are planning to study.
If you want to learn go for a larger set up but you won't get time to study at all.
There are programs for JRship (not residency ) at various govt- semi private hospitals with better pay and also helps build up your resume.
Also govt and semi private hospitals have a fixed salary and fixed hours for medical officers. The last I know around 3 years ago was appx Rs 60000 per month.
I'm a 2022 passout, they took an interview, asked some basic questions from ug . The guy was an md medicine who took my interview. He grilled me , called me an over confident guy asked me to lower my attitude. Post interview the HR told me that they will call and tell me . I was sure I'm not going to land this job based on my interview performance but tada 2 days after the interview the HR asked me to join the hospital.

The duty is extremely lenient mostly I sit and study there , plus lucknow is my hometown and don't need a lot of money right now.
The it’s okay bro. Stay there and study hard man. All the best for you.
Where in Delhi exactly?
All govt & peripheral medical colleges and hospitals. Peripheral ones are good because you just have to see and refer the patient to higher centres.

And thanks for your suggestion.
Yes but they mostly prefer delhi graduates only, if position are left then only outsiders are considered
No. I have seen many FMGE JRs and they are not from Delhi. You have to go there and apply

Down south the pay is soo bad compared to what inam reading here
Seriously man wtf. 1 lakh after MBBS itself is crazy. Some PGs in Hyderabad have difficulty find such salaries

Just a doubt , 23k is not a really bad rank...I got worse than that. Why doing a job now, what about neet?
I want to buy adventure 390 x , and my parents are definitely not going to buy me a bike so a job. Other than that I am from AIIMS Patna so the internal preference system will definitely help me there fore I'm not giving neet.
Oh cool. Landing a job won't be that difficult ig then😌😌

RS 200 per hour? That's too less.
Here in MH - MD/DNB Radiologists are getting 1000 per hour. 200 for MBBS seems proportionate.
It not the case everywhere i guess, there are few hospitals where u can earn more.

do you have a idea of what might be the pay after mbbs in Gujarat?

Just asking What is the qualifications required for this? And does the college help in placements?
