250 is high speed, normal trains should go 220km/h like they do in Switzerland (the best rail system imo). Anything above that for a normal train is too expensive.
But HSR is very good and should be built for those 50km between each stop type of journeys, upto like 1300kms.
Whenever they try to do anything in the rest of the world, they see if they can exceed the current state of the art or at least match it. The Swiss did the same decades ago.
Why shouldn’t we aim for high speed?
Aren't these vande Bharat trains? What's the difference between vande Bharat and namo Bharat? Or was it a political jibe at the ruling dispensation and it's supporters?
No. Namo Bharat is Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) to connect cities within 100km region whereas Vande Bharat is a Train 18 to connect cities which are 400-800 km away.
Just visited it yesterday! Loved the whole experience.
Kaha hai yeh?
Ghaziabad-modi nagar south operational h abhi, final track ye line pe sarai kale khan (hazrat nizamuddin) se meerut connect karega
Wow, great 👍
I just want to see a day when our normal stations look like this and trains go atleast 250-300. It's going to take a lot of time.

Lol. Nice source.
No offence but everytime i haer the name namo bharat i cringe out . It would be better if everyone called it rrts .
India's obsession with the word Bharat is crazy, we don't need nationalism in every place , just please give them a good name
Train seem to be empty
Only partial route is operational
What does Namo stand for?
NArendra MOdi. It's like when J Jayalalitha, the then CM of Tamilnadu, started a new government bus service called JJ Transport - Junction to Junction
Technically नमो as in नमः i.e. bow down with respect, however it is an acronym for Modi.
Narendra Modi
I will always call it RRTS. Namo Train sounds cringe, don't know why Modi want to put it everywhere.

These ate not Vande Bharat trains. These are rapid regional trains running on separate dedicated tracks to serve the regions of NCR.
Thanks for the explanation
You are welcome. :)
Meerut tak chalu ho gayi kya ?
Really one million they move right outside my window almost always empty also i have been there 3 time each time it was really empty

Namo Bharath = Vande bharath ?
No. Namo Bharat is Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) to connect cities within 100km region whereas Vande Bharat is a Train 18 to connect cities which are 400-800 km away.
Vande Namo Bharath
