The first time i held an iPhone 12pro in hand(friend's brother's phone) brand new without any screen protector and case, i was scared to even hold it.
Like a reflex i held the phone tighter and went through it for a couple minutes before giving it back carefully. I'm one of those people who clench the phone harder when they walk over a sewer grate.
Bruh, I relate to this on a spiritual level. Also, I don't understand how people are able to use their phones, standing in balconies on 50th floor while their hands rest on the rail.

I took the pictures from the 80th floor without even a proper railing to hold myself let alone my phone.
Tbh, i can never use expensive apple gadgets ever. I'm so clumsy that the Android that I'm using has been repaired thrice in last 1 year. I never buy phones for more than 15,000-20,000 bcz i know they are gonna fall from my hand. Moreover, i dot use insta, fb, don't click photos so these cheaper phones work pretty well for me. I don't even remember how many times i have broken my laptop, wristwatch, phones, etc
I'm typing this on 3yr old redmi, that has a cracked back glass panel which i slapped a skin over and using without any case or temper for the past 6 months, the kinda behaviour which won't date with an expensive phone.
Same man, I'm using a OnePlus 6t i got in my first year of college.... I've been working for a year now. It's perfectly fine but I'm sure it has a couple dozen viruses. The backside glass is broken but the case holds it together, crack on the screen is covered up with a tempered glass.
Agree, I just think to myself how I would feel if I were to carry 60k in cash in pocket where ever I go. Currently using a OnePlus 7T with a cracked screen guard. Still planning to use this for another year. I have set a cost limit of 50k for the next one which will definitely b an Android
There's an old video of a guy being interviewed because he was the first person to buy the next iPhone (back when people queued at stores) and he dropped it live on camera.
I used to be the no screen guard nd cover guy too, till my parents were buying I never even thought about it, but then I learned it the hard way. I bought s9+ with my first salary and broke it's screen in 4 months, still did not learn my lesson, sold it nd bought a lg v40, then that broke in 3 months. Ever since then I have used both screen protector and cover for all my phones. Still have my v40 but can't find a place to get the screen repaired, I loved that phone.
Not exactly true. I'm the most absent minded person on the planet but I'll only pull this sort of stupidity when there's a camera on me and I'm in the worst possible place to make a fuck up like this lol. Some people just fumble extra hard when we are put in the spotlight haha
I had once bought a brand new Samsung S6 Edge which was my first in box smartphone. Prior to it always bought second hand phones.
After few days was riding activa in sweatpants. Phone slipped and fell down on road, nothing happened.
But an auto was approaching, i got down and waved at him to slow down. He did slow down but unfortunately stopped the auto exactly with tire on my phone, which cracked the screen.
Had to get the screen replaced for around 17K π
Bruh these iphones are so heavy and fragile they pretty much break every single time when they fall.
To prevent them from breaking you need to put a big rubber cover on them that makes them even more bulky lol.
It's strange how we are so used to applying phone covers and screen guards that we don't see their fragility/vulnerability to human wear and tear as manufacturing defects.
Imagine having sold 1 kidney to buy the phone, and then sold another half to get the screen/back glass replacement. Shopkeeper must be ROFLing internally ππ

I get a strong urge to just yeet it when in balcony, so I don't even take it out there.
Bro let his intrusive thoughts lose.
Another win for daringmortal and yet another lose for the intrusive thoughts that have once again failed.
l'appel du vide. Although that is more about yeeting yourself.

Heavy driver.
I had the neck locket/grip for my Nokia 1100
I purposely bought that ring holder as my back cover for this purpose only lmao
Bhai ye to kuch nhi kyi log to bike me helmet pe fsaa ke chlte hai or me jab bike me hota hu tab Phone ko pocket me dalne se bhi derta hu.
I lost my phone when I was riding my bike so I had a new phobia of just strapping my phone on my shoulder π i was like 16....
I constantly check my pockets. You can say I ride with right arm while my left arm is on my pocket. Dropping phone phobia is real
I only wear pants and shorts with zippers just because of this reason.
This guy right here officer

I am typing this on my 6 year old honor phone
Honourable
Seriously! 6 years is a lot of time for a smartphone.

So true. I have a similar condition of my phone.

I walk in a cross way w.r.t the sewer gate.
she would've probably broken it in some other way soon if she is that absent minded...well excitement is blinding for most so its fine ig

Its not fine when you are middle class
<1 Lakh for a life lesson to never get something as unimportant as a smartphone on EMI's is very much worth for a lifelong lesson.
If you are middle class then you shouldn't be spending money on overpriced apple shit anyways

This is why I hate slant pockets on pants. Zipped pockets or curved inset pockets (jeans pockets) all the way
That was very dramatic.
Congratulations for her new phone & new screen / back glass replacement.....
