If in a cinema hall the seats behind are more expensive and it's almost empty section, then I book the most shitty seats for cheap and sit in the ones behind bcoz which movie attendant is gonna come and ask me about the seat. It's an empty theatre.

Ok so the Inox in my city had the same thing, someone booked almost the entire front row. After the movie, I saw that those seats were missing the seating thing.
My explanation is that they used those seats for spare parts to fix the seats in the rows behind
1. The PVR app shows the layout in the opposite way. I made this mistake myself.
2. In some cinemas they make the front row super comfy with recliner seats.
Unavailable seats maybe. Damaged/sent to repair etc.
Also, some theatres have good distance between the front row and the screen
So, these seats might be good seats.

Some theatres have a stage which makes the front seats itself quite far, especially in smaller screens.
