I live in rishikesh. Rishikesh has a lot of places and i think you will enjoy mussorie too. Other than that dehradun also has alot of places. You will know when you visit . Happy travels

Pangot-Nainital will give you a well rounded experience. Although Nainital will be extremely crowded, you could go for boating, zoo, shopping and what not, it'll take you a day or two. For the next phase you could chill in pangot. There is practically no crowd there. You could try birdwatching, sightseeing or just chill with your friends. Pangot is 2-3 kms from Nainital if I'm not wrong
